This a photo of my late brother Boody!

He was a very handsome mancat, right?

This photo was taken about 3 years ago..

He was checking his teritory [our neighbor house],

and came near when we said we want to snap his photo!

And then he came and gave us a very nice pose!

Boody left to the rainbow bridge on 8th March 2009,

at the age of 17.

He is still in our heart, we missed you Boody!

We lost This Man Cat a year ago : Boody

Last year, on the same date as today, 8th March 2009,

my Brother, Boody went to the Rainbow Bridge at 10.45pm Malaysia time..

at the age of 17..

This photo was taken a few hours before he died..

Most of my furriends from all over the world drop by with condolence..

We are totally thankful because having a bunch of sweet furriends..

Boody, you are still in my heart, and in our family's heart..

You are always be remembered..

We missed you very much..

If he is still here, he would turn 18 today..

Elin Wordy Wednesday! Tribute to Boody~

Hi effurryone! Mak had told me interesting story just now, about my late brother Boody who went to the bridge 8th March ago..
Mak said, after Boody died, she and my dad buried Boody in our fruit orchard, which is located about 4 kilometers from our house.
Mak added, she planted a bougainvilla tree on Boody's grave, as a remembrance to Boody.

And, a few days ago, mak together with my granny and 2 sisters, went to the orchard to visit Boody's grave. They missed Boody so bad, so they went there.

Unfortunately, when they arrived there, they found out that the bougainvilla bloom!
White in color, just like Boody's face!
Look!

And the picture below is Boody's grave.
Mak said, Boody are now the guardian for our orchard. He is now have a new duty, because he is now young again, so he is totally able to take care of this orchard!
Oh Boody, how we missed u~~

In this orchard, my humans, including my late grandfather, had planted many fruit trees here!
And they are Malaysian local fruit!
Below are pictures of our fruit trees, u can click on the picture to see the fruit when they riped!


This is my sis Nana with the Pulasan fruit tree. Pulasan mean twist, it is because when human want to eat the fruit, they have to twist the fruit to get it.

This is my sis Syazni, with a Jackfruit tree. But the fruit isn't there yet, it's only the bud coming out, and we must wait for a few months more to get the Jackfruit.

This is my Granny, or in Malay I called her Nenek. She is with the Durian fruit tree. Many people say that most people from USA & Europe doesn't like the Durian fruit, is it true furriends? But my late brother Boody love it very much. Same as the Jackfruit, the Durian is also still a bud now.

And this is my beloved mak, with a mango fruit tree! I love the smell of the mango but I don't eat it.

I'm very sure that Boody can guard this orchard and fruits well!
Right?

Sounds that they were having a great time visiting the orchard and Boody's grave, but for your information, they did not bring me along... They are no pictues of me with the trees..
So now, I'm sulking.
No photography session for today...

Flashback Friday~

Me and my late brother Boody are not close, and never cuddle each other.. but it won't be the cause i did not love him.. i miss him..

so do my family..

scrolling over the photo folder, i found this 2 photos, which were taken last year..

the first photo is taken by chance, that makes it a little bit blur.

But it was a very precious moment to me because I can be beside him..

usually he won't let me even walk beside him..

oh funny brother..

at that time we were waiting for our meals together..

the second photo also quite blur..

this photo was taken last year instead..

at this time, our family need to be outstation for a week..

so, we need to stay in Cat Hotel in the nearest Vet Clinic..

I don't like it here because we were just like being in a jail!

But there is no other choise, so we must stay here.

My tiny room is beside Boody's.

And this moments are very best to me, because at least for a week, i have a little conversation with Boody since me is the only cat he knew, and his other neighbor won't chat with him either..

after this, if my family need to be out of state again, i'll be alone in the Cat's hotel.. no more Boody beside me to chat...

miss u Boody, all of us~

I'm back furriends! With news to share!

My sister [secretary] have come back from her field trip!! Yeay! And it's time for me to blog! But, our sorrow has not gone yet, especially my mom.. She visited Boody's grave often.. Yes, we still miss him.. So, I think it's my job to cuddle my mak [mom] now.. I don't want her to be sad because when she sad, i will be sad too~

Mak..Elin is always here for u~

And, my sis [her name is Syazni] said that she was away to attend a Symposium on Ex-situ Conservation of Orang utan, which Orang utan is one of Borneo [East part of Malaysia] and Sumatra [Indonesia] endemic species, worse, they are now endangered.

So, my sis attending the symposium, representing her University, at Bukit Merah Lake Town Resort, in Perak, Malaysia.

Below are her pic, with her beloved boyfriend, they are in the same course in University, he is my brother Zaimi.

Here, the owner of the resort had establish an Orang utan Island for the purpose of tourism, as well as research.

It's very interesting because visitors can come to this small island to see the Orang utan closer than ever! U can have more information by clicking here.

Beside the Orangutan Island, there are also other attraction at Bukit Merah Laketown Resort, such as waterpark, Ecopark, chalet on the lake, and Nocturnal trip to see the nocturnal animal at night!

That is why the symposium is held, to discuss the pro and cons about the place.

Boody's depart forever :(

Mom said Boody stay with our family since June 1992.. The person that gave Boody to us said that Boody were born on May 5th 1992...

But just now, at 10.40pm, March 8th,

[Malaysia Time], which just about 2 hours ago, he died....

He's gone forever...

we are crying now....

but at least, he is now escape the suffer...

Boody, we are going to miss u very much...

17years of happiness with u, sure makes everybody feel the pain of losing u :(

Farewell brother...

My brother is critical now :(

me and my family are very sad now..

my brother, Boody, is very critical...

he is in the bad condition...

he looks very tired..

plus, he is very skinny now due to the illness...

he refuse to eat, he just drink.

and, he is not claning himself already...

unlike usual..

he used to be a very good in cleaning himself, but now the condition change.

he can't walk properly anymore...
he also can't stand..

look at him...

very different!

:(

we do not have money to cure him...

plus the vet said, he is too old to be cure..

because in our country, the techology for veterinar is still not good enough...

maybe because we lack of facilities...

we are so sad...

andnow we just hope that he will go to the bridge easily...

because, now he lives in a very sad condition...

nothing much we can do...

now, we are only crying..

to accept the truth that very soon, we must let him go..

My old brother cat...boody..

Hi Furriends!!

I'm sorry for not blogging for a few days..

Today, i want to introduce my old brother, Boody!

Here he is!

He is 17++years old..and on this coming may, he'll be 18!

poor brother... this picture above was taken last year.

at this time, he is sick, because he accidentally swallowed a fish bone..

and went to a vet to take it out, otherwise he'll die :(

but luckily, he's ok then.

we are not siblings.. my mom keep him first.. then, after he's getting old and not playful anymore, my mom bought me from a pet store...

i always want to play with Boody, but he won't.

He seems like did not want to befriend with me..

But it's ok, i still love him because my mom told me that i must love boody because he is my brother!

Though he is quite ego with me, but he is a very nice cat!

he is a mix breed of Persian and Malaysian local cat, so he got a fluff fur with local cats' coloration.

he is very old and seems tired everyday..

he cannot run and jump and climb aggressively anymore...

he always spend his time sleeping...

everyday he eat cat's sardine 2-4 times..

he loses many of his teeth..

but he is very good in cleaning himself!

he is never looks dirty!

oh i almost forget to tell u!

his tail is short!

he has green eyes...

red nose...

beautiful colors...

he has his own weird eating habit...

*giggles!

he can, and love, to eat vegetables, 'durian', 'rambutan', which are Malaysia local fruit and also papaya..

Boody, i love u so much, as much as my family love him..

and still hoping that one day he will be nice with me instead of being so fierce with me......

i love u, brother!!
