SUPER SENTAI EVENT

Shout! Factory is hosting a Super Sentai event this weekend! Tune in to their streaming channel to see classic Japanese sci-fi/monster action on their website, complete with commentary and round table discussions with tokusatsu experts. This is a great way to find out how the whole Power Rangers phenomenon began in Japan. There is also a flash sale on all tokusatsu DVD box sets and fans can save up to 50%! More info at Shout! ERNIE CLINE CLASSIC GAME FEST

Author Ernie Cline (Ready Player One) will be a special guest at Classic Game Fest this summer! The festival will be held the Palmer Events Center in Austin July 29-30. "Classic Game Fest is excited to welcome acclaimed author and screenwriter, Ernest Cline, back to Classic Game Fest! YELLO LIVE

The band Yello has announced live dates in Europe for winter 2017. These guys don't perform much at all, so try to see them if you are in the area. Although I remembered their song Oh Yeah from Ferris Beuller's Day Off, it wasn't until my pal Alan played their many CDs last summer that I got to understand what these guys are about- catchy rhythms, quirky playfulness, and beautifully produced recordings. DOCTOR WHO TARGET BOOK EXHIBIT

The wonderful Target book range kept Doctor Who stories alive in the imaginations of viewers in the pre-video era. Join Peter Capaldi and others in this visit to the UK Cartoon Museum last spring to see some iconic book cover illustrations and to hear from a number of Doctor Who writers and artists. Enjoy!

GHOSTBUSTERS EVENT
