My son would be in HEAVEN if this was our yard with that amazing trampoline and I as his mother would be in HEAVEN if this was our house...the yellow shutters are seriously beautiful...I'm in LOVE!!

I'm still loving yellow even though we have been seeing so much of it used in fashion and interiors of late. I find yellow so fresh and bright and it always makes me happy. Today I thought I would share some current favourite yellow pics from my "I Love" files. Enjoy!

Emily's Pink & Yellow Party

It was my friend Sally's 5 year old daughter's birthday party today and we decorated the table in pink, yellow, aqua and lime green. It was SO gorgeous!! I actually had the tablecloths made for my son's 3rd birthday party a couple of years ago and we just sewed some gorgeous floral frills on for Emily's party today. Nothing like a bit of recycling!! We made the napkins in pink and white stripe which I tied in knots and then I placed them on each plate. The plates were some gorgeous painted tin plates which we only got a couple of days before the party from one of our wholesalers!! I think a fun time was had by all, especially the birthday girl!!

Isn't it wonderful that these pics work so well in Pink & Yellow Week!!

In my search for pink and yellow I stumbled across this gorgeous book by William Steig called Yellow & Pink. It looks adorable. It's about a yellow and pink puppet lying in the sun waiting for their paint to dry pondering their origin. They speculate, they debate and then finally a strange man walks into their lives. WOW, what a response I've had to Pink & Yellow Week!! Thank you so much everyone who has emailed me so far and for all the wonderful images. I am going to post them all so please bear with me!! I thought I would start with Jo's wonderful collection of pink & yellow images which she emailed me today. Jo is one of the writers behind the very inspiring blog Desire to Inspire and she is also another Brisbane based design obsessed person. I recently had the pleasure of meeting Jo face to face in my shop, Black & Spiro. It was a wonderful experience to meet one of my blogging friends!

My favourite 2 images which Jo sent me through today are the top 2 images - so vibrant. However, I do love all of the images above. They are stunning.
