Aisyah Lily: The Birth

Thanks to my readers for all the warm wishes. Me and Aisyah are doing well (she's a healthy one week baby today!). I'm slowly adjusting my time to this whole new world of motherhood and enjoying every second of it. *love*

I gave birth to Aisyah in Hospital Serdang via normal delivery, it all happened at my 38 weeks of pregnancy. Yes, much earlier than the EDD which is supposed to be on the 20th July. Oh, here's the chronology (cewah!) of the days before Aisyah was born. Sharing is caring. :)

04/07/2012
My waterbag broke exactly at 6.30am, on the same time the morning buzzer goes off. I immediately alarmed my husband, then took a shower and get ready while husband helped to prepare some things to bring to the hospital. By this time, the water keep leaking and I couldn't care less to change my panties and trouser after doing so for a few times already. I have to cover the car's cushion with a thick towel to prevent wetting all the way to the hospital.

We arrived at the hospital and went straight to Dewan Bersalin. Registered, then they called up my name and I have to change my clothes to their pink uniform. I was still leaking, non-stop, but there's still no signs of contractions what-so-ever. The nurses came and did the usual check-up routines, performed a CTG and a doctor came in to see whether I have dilated or not. And yes, no dilation yet. :(

Camwhoring while waiting at Dewan Bersalin

Ward 5F/8

So I have to wait at the hall with my husband while they prepared for my ward admission sometime later in the evening. By 1pm, I started to feel uneasy and had some mild contractions, still bearable, and I can still munch on foods before my pantang starts. Hehe. Finally, around 3-ish I was admitted but still there's no signs of delivery anytime soon. They have to monitor me and the baby as I didn't stop leaking since this morning.

Last shots being a whale (pregnant) before going into labour

Husband was with me until 8pm when the visiting time was over. Nurses came a few times for their usual check-ups that night and at 10pm, doctors came for their rounds and said I'll be induced if there's still no signs of dilation yet.

05/07/2012
At 1am, I started to have strong contractions but they weren't consistent, and yes, I was still leaking. I didn't feel good and had trouble sleeping the whole night. At 5am, a nurse woke me up as the doctor wanted to check on me. Went to Bilik Rawatan, where a group of expectant mothers were also waiting for their turns to see the doctor and they too, had contractions for hours already. The doctor checked my cervical opening and there's only 1cm dilation so it's confirmed, I have to be induced since it's been almost 24 hours since my waterbag broke.

At around 7am, I finally have the real contractions and this time, they were frequent, maybe about 3 times in 5 minutes with some blood-shows. The pain was unbearable. I felt like dying and my waist-down was in pain like hell. The doctor came in and checked on me. At that time, I was at 3cm dilated. The doctor placed her finger further into my cervix to help it dilate more. Husband came early to the hospital and waited at the hall after I texted him saying that I'll be into labour anytime soon.

By 9am, I really couldn't bear the pain and rang the nurses and doctors for epidural to help ease the pain. But no, they didn't want to give me any as they want me to dilate naturally and have normal delivery. By this time, I was at 5cm and a nurse inserted this 'ubat berak' where it resulted in me going to the toilet 3 times afterwards to ease my bowel. A doctor then ordered me to be wheeled into the labour room.

In the labour room, a male doctor asked me a few questions and I couldn't care much to answer as I was in pain. Then he taught me how to push before a group of nurses and midwives came in to assist me during delivery. They called up my husband to accompany me in the labour room too (yeay!!!!) but during that time, I didn't care who was with me anymore. All I want was this whole process to be done and over with.

3 hours after delivery. Tired but happy to the max!

The midwives were really supportive. They cheered me up. I had 4 unsuccessful attempts of pushing where finally on the fifth push, the baby is out and the moment I heard her cries, a wave of relieve surpassed me. It's finally over and I'm a mother now. Alhamdulillah! A nurse placed Aisyah on my chest for a brief bonding session before she was whisked away for bath and cleanse. The delivery resulted in me having 6 outer stitches and 10 inner stitches, ni semua sebab terangkat punggung masa push! The nurses chatted with me while the midwife did the stitching. I couldn't feel anything anymore as I've gone through the contractions before, which was the greatest pain everrrrrrrr. Once you went through it then you'll know how painful it is.

06/07/2012
Me and Aisyah have to stay in the ward for one more night as the medical team wanted to monitor my baby and a sample of her blood was taken yesterday for lab purposes. Since I've been leaking for more than 24 hours, this procedure is normal since they want to detect any infections on the baby and she has to be monitored for two days. I was bored to death staying in the hospital. being a new mum, all alone and tired, with a baby to look after and these episiotomy cuts to care for. I just can't wait to go back home and have a rest with a proper sleep.

07/07/2012
Aisyah all prepared to go home...

And Mommy looks like bibik! Hahahaha!

Finally, it was time to be discharged. Husband came early to help me pack. A nurse took Aisyah for a simple bath time while I went to see the doctor to check my episiotomy cut. So far, everything was looking good so phewwwwww! By 11am, husband has settled all the bill and discharged papers then it's time to go home! Wheeeeeeeee!

Breastfeeding Items

I've been reading and learning things in regards to breastfeed from Google and breastfeeding groups, mostly. Very informative, I must say since I'm new to this.

This led me to other things, among them is preparing for the essential breastfeeding items. And I never knew they can be quite costly but of course, if you want the best and you have the cash, why don't you indulge in some fancy gadgets and stuff for your breastfeeding session.

I was tempted to buy Medela FS at first (well, who doesn't?) and have placed a deposit during a spree since it was quite cheap at that time. Then, it crossed my mind what if I can't express milk as much as I wanted it to be. Wouldn't it be a waste to spend so much on a breast pump knowing that I can use that same amount of money on something else? Then my sister suggested Spectra 300 which is quite good, very quiet and cute despite being slightly heavy and big. I was tempted (as usual!) but decided to settle on Spectra 3 instead since my SIL offers her extra, brand new Spectra much cheaper than market price. It was slightly heavy, well Spectra is known to be a little bit on a heavier side but who cares as long as they're working out good. At only RM250, she gave me a brand new set of Spectra 3, a cooler bag and 2 packs of 25pcs storage bags. Me and husband went giddy and excited trying out the breast pump all over our body. Hahaha!

Since my breast pump only provide a single breast shield, I need to buy another set to enable double pumping. Thank God my cousin sells all these breastfeeding products wayyyyyyyyy cheaper than their retail price. Plus, a little discount too since I'm a family member so yeay! Hahaha. I bought 2 box of 6 storage bottles (5oz) from Jingle Jungle at RM19 each and a pack of 6 bottles (2oz) from Treenie at RM17. The breast shield is only RM55 and the 3pcs ice pack from Jingle Jungle is at RM14. The total amount is disclosed since I'm a family and entitled for discount. Hehehe. But trust me, do buy from her if you want something cheaper. Visit her Facebook page or Mudah listing for pricing and contact details.

Wish me luck on my breastfeeding journey! If all is well, maybe I can upgrade myself to a Medela FS someday. Hehehe.

Hospital Bag: DONE!

This is the one thing that I procrastinate on a lot. I don't really like packing, be it for holiday even. Because I'll end up with heaps of unnecessary things shoved inside the bag for no apparent reason. And the same goes while I was packing for the baby and my hospital bag. Eventho I have the checklist to refer to, I still ended up with a few things, just for the sake of thinking 'maybe it's not enough'. Hahaha!

Let's start with the baby's stuff first, shall we?

Baby care items are included in my list of hospital bag for baby, eventho most people said these aren't going to be used but I just like to be prepared. It's completely okay if these items stay inside the bag as long as I know I have all the things ready should I need them later. I bought a travel size for all items so it won't take much space.

  • 6x diapers
  • 1x baby wipes
  • 1x set of travel pack toiletries
  • 1x minyak telon
  • 1x minyak yuyi
  • 1x vicks

  • The main stuff, baby clothes! I think I've brought a sufficient need for her stay in the hospital. It includes:

  • 2x swaddle wraps
  • 1x receiving blanket
  • 2x set mittens and booties
  • 1x towel
  • 3x baby binder
  • 3x button-front clothes
  • 1x hat

  • From the list of clothes above, I've separated it to after-birth clothes and going-home clothes. Referring to an entry from Mama Lynd, this is going to be my baby's first clothes right after delivery. I've briefed my husband regarding this already and packed this set of attire in a separate paper bag so it'll be easier for him when the nurse asked for the baby's blanket and tops. Just take it out from the bag and pass it on to the nurse.

As for the going-home clothes (nak jugekkkkkkkkk!), I've packed something fancy yet simple for the baby since she's still a newborn. Who doesn't want her baby to look cute, right? Hahaha alasan nak dress up semata!

Okay, since we're done with the baby's hospital bag, let's move further to mummy's hospital bag now:
Mummy's care regiment is a must! I bought everything in a travel size to save space as possible as I could.

  • 1x pack maternity pads
  • 1x set toiletries
  • 1x make-up kit

  • As for the clothes, I packed a few pieces just in case there are leaking and whatnots.

  • 3x button-front tops
  • 3x kain batik
  • 1x sweater
  • 3x thick socks
  • 3x nursing bras
  • 1x pack disposable panties
  • 1x towel
  • 1x pack disposable breast pads
  • 1x nipple cream

  • Apart from these things. I also think this is worth consider to be packed inside your bag too just in case (which I think is necessary!):

  • Instant drinks (Milo/Horlicks)
  • Light snacks (dates/biscuits)
  • Handphone charger
  • Novel/magazine (to kill time)

  • Okay, once everything is all sorted out, they can all go inside the bag and I can now wait for the day to come. The owl bag belongs to the baby while the other one belongs to mummy. Now we're ready to go!

    My Pregnancy Progress: 8 Months

Apart from the monthly check-up, nothing much has changed this month from the previous one. Everything is more or less the same, I feel very tired more than ever and sweat a lot, even at night. My baby is doing fine, mostly being at her highest point during night time until early morning, and sleeps throughout the whole day with minimal movements in the womb. But it's alright as long as she completes her 10 times kicking movements each day. Good girl!

I planned to be as active as I could during this last trimester, seeing that I'm staying at home now most of the time under doctor's prescriptions. I make sure to go out at least twice a week, be it for dinner or simply catch a movie, just as a simple walking exercise. The baby's getting heavier each day, so sometimes I have to limit my walking sesh and I can only do 4 to 6 hours tops. I still think it's relatively good, especially for a heavily pregnant woman like me.

The latest me at 33 weeks during various occasions

I still haven't packed my hospital bag, still procrastinating on that issue and even the nurse has advised me to start preparing one just in case. Will do that maybe this weekend with my husband. I have listed all the items that needed to bring, so let's just hope I'll stick to it.

Oh, just to let you know. Tanamera is having 20% discount on all of its products in Parkson Sunway Pyramid. So this is a good time to stock up on their brown soaps, salt scrubs and coconut oil. I just bought a herbal tungku to be used during my confinement period next month.
Managed to grab this at RM39.90 after discount. Love the spa aromatheraphy smell

    Nubian Goat's Milk

Never ever has it crossed my mind that I'm gonna drink goat's milk, what's more loving it. Goat's milk have this awful smell which I can't stand, really. But ever since I'm pregnant, I started to learn new things each day and one of them is the possibility of jaundice on newborns and how your blood type can actually be one of the factors that contributes to it. I don't know if this is myth, assumptions or purely made based on scientific research but parents or moms (especially asians) with an O type blood have higher chances to have jaundice babies. Unlucky for me, I'm an O type blood too so I guess a simple precaution to prevent jaundice will do no harm for me and my baby. But it's all depends actually, if God's willing.

I heard goat's milk is one of the most popular method used to prevent jaundice on babies before they were born. Talking about goat's milk, my first reaction was like, yikes! I know I can't bear its smell but I just have to try it and thinking that this is just an experiment. Hahaha. I didn't want those prepacked goat's milk and decided to be really brave and tried the fresh goat's milk from Nubian

My brother used to drink goat's milk from Nubian before so I thought, hey maybe it wasn't that bad. And yes, it wasn't that bad at all. For a first timer, of course the smell was a total turn-off but once you drink it for the second time and the next, you'll get accustomed to its strong odour. In fact, I'm loving it now.

I started to drink goat's milk during the middle of my second trimester, with a bottle per week because fresh goat's milk is quite expensive. And now at 8 months, I increased my intake to three to four bottles per week. I can only drink milk from Nubian's. They're available in certain Giant hypermarkets, JJ/Carefour MidValley and Presto. But sometimes, they ran out of stock and boy, it was hard to find anywhere else.

    My stocks for two weeks

But thank God they offer home delivery service, yes right at your doorstep. With my current condition now which is quite unforgiving, I guess I should make good use of this service. So I went to their website to register and placed my order. They have many flavors available if you decided to order online but I'm still stuck with the plain, original flavor. I've become their regular and now whenever I ran out of stock and decided to order I just text their staff at 016-3458988 and the milk will be delivered to me (with a very minimal delivery charge) in 2 days. Much easier and efficient!

For more info on pricing and delivery, do check out their super cute animated website!

    The Second 3D/4D Scan

I did my previous scan at a clinic in PJ when my baby was at 5 months old and was disappointed after knowing that the sonographer no longer offer her service there. After much thought, we decided to drive all the way from Puchong to Ampang just to do the scan. Yes, it was quite a journey despite being stuck in jam for almost 2-hour! My initial plan is to do the scan when I was at 7 months pregnant but we were too busy and consumed with the house preparation and decided to cancel and do it when the baby reached 8 months. By that time, I was hoping that it's not too late and we still can see the baby clearly.

Our appointment is supposed to be at 12.30pm but we finally managed to reach there only at 2pm. Hahaha! Waited at the reception for almost 40 minutes before my name was called. Jezz apologized for making us wait for quite some time and wasted no time and did her job. The baby was sleeping sideways during the scan and the sonographer had to nudge and pat my tummy to make her move. After a few tries, we finally got to see her face. She's a chubby, for sure and weighing healthily at 2.2kg at that time.

The 2D scan of my baby. Heartbeat is normal and baby is healthy although she's a week bigger from her real age.

The 4D image of her. The umbilical cord is somewhere near her face but thank God it doesn't blocked the view. We even saw her stretched out her body and yawning during the process. My baby is a sleepyhead!

As usual, we paid RM100 for the scan and received a CD containing clips of her movements and few selected pictures, plus a print-out of her 4D image. We always like Jezz's service which is very warm and friendly. Recommended!

    Survey: Confinement Lady

I was chatting on WhatsApp with my friend the other day, just changing mommies stories since we're both pregnant at the same time. Then she asked me about my confinement lady and to tell you the truth, I haven't given a slightest thought about it yet and she was horrified. You see, I'm due to deliver my baby on July, most probably during the fasting period and the thought of having no one to come over and take care of me during the confinement period because most of the tukang urut declined to serve during fasting month is simply unimaginable. Yes, after that conversation finished, I was totally mortified.

My mom is a full-time housewife but she has my two other siblings who are still in school and needs to be taken care of. Plus, I want to have my post natal rest at the comfort of my own house, not at my parent's because I can't stand my cats anymore (yeah, evil!) and my husband will feel at ease if we're in our own pod.

So I have to act fast and knowing that I have merely one month to seal the deal with a potential confinement lady, I've been searching high and low and asked my cousin/friends for numbers of their previous confinement lady. My requirement is simple. The lady should be able to take care of me and baby and preparing the food for me as well. Not necessarily to be lived-in but daily basis is most welcomed. And so far, here's what I got:

They are more towards spa-like treatment and they're using Tanamera products for the post natal care. Currently they have 3 packages available, ranging from stay-in confinement nanny, traditional home nursing and clinical home nursing. They are usually fully booked months ahead. Located in Bandar Puteri, Puchong, please contact the friendly owner, Kak Ida at 012-2816016 for pricing and availability.

Located in Shah Alam, they have 3 packages to choose from. From stay-in nanny to the basic package. Please refer to their website for price listing and packages available or you can directly contact the owner, Kak Ita at 012-2431966 for details.

    Kak Hawa (016-7353757)
I got her contact from my cousin. I was at the very last minute when I called her and she is almost fully booked for the month of July. Poor me. But she tried to slot me in her schedule tho and sadly, I can only hire her for a week if I happen to deliver on the estimated date. She will stay with you for the whole duration and will cook for you and care for the baby as well. Please contact her for availability.

After contacting the above candidates, I decided to go for Kak Hawa because of her experience, good reference and feedback and the rate is affordable. IREE Touch was so busy and I only received their quotation after 4 days asking for it! Whilst Jemari Tradisional's quotation is a bit off my budget. Hahaha! Now the confinement lady is secured I can now breathe. Phewwwwww!!!! One thing is finally settled.

    My Pregnancy Progress: 7 Months

I'm entering the first month of my third trimester now. I feel all excited about it, seeing that the due date is slowly approaching and I can't wait to meet my baby. The nurse has taught to me to count the baby's movements during the whole 12-hour duration as well and I noticed that the baby is so active, she completes her 10 times kick-count usually around 2-6pm.
    The baby's movement record

Starting from this month onwards, I have to go for antenatal check-up twice a month. The first check-up went well and for the first time ever during my whole pregnancy months, I gained weight more than it was supposed to. Weighing at 65kg, I'm currently at an extra 1.2kg from the ideal weight. Because of this, I'm scheduled to go for MGTT appointment during the second check-up later in the middle of this month. Akhirnya, kena minum air gula jugak. Hopefully everything is okay and I can consume the whole glass of glucose without fail. Heheh.

As for my progression, there's nothing much changed during this first half of my 7 months pregnancy this time, except:
    • Fatigue is killing me. I'm too lazy to even walk out of the house (shopping, walking, driving etc) and I can't do much chores now, or else I'll get soooooooooo tired and really cranky afterwards.
    • With the belly growing (so does the baby inside), I have a serious problem to sleep at night now. I've tried every position possible to make myself comfortable in bed but none is working. The result, I'll get sleepless nights everyday and can only sleep after 3am, after being so tired in finding my comfort zone.
    • I'll get back pain if I sit and watch tv or driving for some time. I have to support my back with a cushion but that doesn't help much actually so I just have to bear with it.
    • I started to feel pain around my lower rib cage. I'm not sure what causes this, but I assumed the baby's growing and she doesn't have much space inside me to turn around and it affects me as well.
    • My body temperature is rising a notch now, or so I think. I'm always sweating and feeling hot, and my body is constantly warm. I even sweat a bucket at night. Our current hot weather doesn't help much either.
    • I always have the urge to urinate most of the time now. Even sneezing can cause me leaking now. Yeah. Hahaha! To avoid multiple trips to the toilet during night time, I avoid drinking water after 11pm if possible.
    Here's me at 7 month:
Me and baby bump growing healthily and happily

And currently I'm re-reading books from Dr. Miriam Stoppard. I've bought these during my first trimester, soon after I found out I was expecting. Being a first time mother, I'm curious about pregnancy, body changing and anything related to it. I love books by Dr. Miriam Stoppard because they are colourful, lots of graphical reference and the info is complete, as for me.
I bought these at Popular Bookstore in Sunway Pyramid. The last copy at that time!

As for my wellness (and so does the baby), apart from the daily intake of milk and multivitamins, I started to consume NeuroGain during this third trimester. I know I hardly eat healthily and follow the staple diet for pregnant moms, so I make up for it with these supplements. Friends and doctors suggested Neurogain during the seventh month as the baby's brain started to develop this time and the fish oil is rich in DHA to help the growth of her brain cells.
I bought Neurogain at Watson in Alamanda for RM51

Oh, tak sabarnye nak minum air gula! Bluekkkkkkk!

    The Laundry Job

This week I'll be entering 30 weeks, and I guess this is just the right time for me to start doing the laundry for the little tot. It's better to be prepared, right? Just in case some unexpected events occur, at least most of the baby's stuff is settled and ready.

I thought I've bought a lot of clothes for the baby's arrival but it soon turned out that it wasn't that many anyway, well according to me. But hubby thinks they are more than enough and can lasts her whole early months wearing it everyday. Ok fine.

The whole laundry process took two days to finish, from the smallest ones to the biggest stuff. I did two rounds of washing each day. So all in all, there were four rounds of washing for two days in a row. I was flat, seriously, seeing that I wasn't as fit as before. Mind you, I did the laundry with the help of washing machine but still, the job tires me as hell. I'm just glad I did the laundry earlier because I can't imagine doing the job at 8 months, I'm sure will surrender even before started. Hehehe.

The first round: I gathered all the whites (clothes, mittens, towels, etc) in order to separate them with the colored clothes and wash them first. At this point of time, I was still all giddy and excited with the tiny clothes. Hahaha.

The second round: I started off with the colored clothes and that includes pants, tights, dress, etc. The weather was freaking hot at that time and I can't bear the heat. So I wasn't in the mood at all for pictures.

The third round: The next day I woke up early in order to finish the heaps of clothes left to be washed. For this time, I washed all the big ones like blankets, wraps and napkins. Thank God none of the colored clothes were discoloured or else, I'll have a hell of a time doing a second wash and mourn after the mess.

The fourth round: For the last round (finally!), I washed off all the smallest items (mittens, booties, hankies, socks, bibs, etc). I was dead tired at this time and finally hubby lent a helping hand and he sorted out the items to be dried out. I just can't bear looking at all the tiny mini things already. Dizzy!

The weather was all dry and hot for these past few days. In a way, it helps the drying process faster. Haha! Now comes the part where the folding and storing took place. I was eager to count how many clothes does the baby own but in the end, I lost track and was too lazy to recount and just assume, her clothes are more than enough for her first three months.

Okayyyyyy, I personally think that's a lot. But I know I really should buy more because most of these are for 0-3/0-6 months. Babies grow so fast and I'm sure my baby is no exception too, thus I should stock up more on 6 months and above before she outgrows her current clothes. Oh wells, that can wait when she's out later I guess.

On the other hand, the storage box for my baby arrived the other day from Macy. It's actually a compensation gift from them because they messed up my order and the reproduction of it took FOREVER to be ready. And finally, both items arrived safely at my house. I can't be more than happy for this. Rezeki baby...

A white fabric storage box. I stashed all the baby's items in here first before it comes to full use. And I just need to put on the bears. They are my collection and they should be passed down to my kid.

The 70s inspired mirror and drawer set (with lots of with dramas before arrival) for my dining area. This set is hugeeeeeeeee in real life and we both love its vintage-y appeal.

    Pregnancy: My Daily Routine

I'm sure most of expectant mothers have almost the same routine to practice during their pregnancy, right? That includes taking prescribed medicines, drinking milk, taking healthy food and the list goes on. But what differs from one and another is what did they consume.

As for me, I reckon my daily routine is just the same with the other mothers. But I do my own initiative to supply what I think is best for my baby. That includes:

    1. Drinking milk. Yes, there's a variety of milk for expecting moms out there. Be it in powder form or fresh milk. As for me, I try to suit everything within my budget without comprimising my baby's health.

I drink a glass of EnfaMama in the morning, a glass of HL fresh milk at night and a bottle of fresh goat's milk once a week.

    2. Taking supplements. I've been prescribed with some supplements according to my health and needs. The doctor gave me the usual Obimin and chewable calcium tablet in orange flavor every month. Apart from that, I'm also taking Salindah homeopathy tablets as an added supplement.
Salindah tablets are taken twice daily during morning and at night, while the other two supplements are consumed in the afternoon after meal.

Besides that, I also have my own simple routine for my well being. I don't experienced any stretch marks yet and I feel blessed. But that doesn't mean I should neglect my stretching abdomen. As a precaution method, I used Tanamera Virgin Coconut Oil in my daily routine. I love Tanamera coconut oil because it doesn't have this sickening smell. In fact, it smells fresh and sweet, and the best part is it absorbs faster into your skin without leaving you feeling all oily and sticky. I used this oil to massage my perineum area every night (when my pregnancy hits 6 months), my belly to avoid stretch marks and I also apply this whenever I have bruise or marks on my skin. It works just great so far.
Priced at RM34, you can purchase this at Tanamera outlet in Parkson Sunway Pyramid or on their website.

So what's your daily routines like?

My Pregnancy Progress : 6 Months

Remember I wrote about how I lost my buku pink? Well, guess what. While I was busy packing up to move out the other day, I finally found it. Sitting right inside a file, stashed together with the other documents. Thank God I found it because it has a print out of my first scan inside. Talks about sentimental value.

The memorable buku pink, my first health book.

As usual, I went for my monthly check-up appointment last week at KK Puchong. Appointment time was at 8am and the whole procedure lasted until 12.30 in the afternoon. I spent 3 1/2 hours just for my number to be called. This time around, the nurse monitored my baby's heartbeat and I went for an ATT injection. I gained a healthy weight at 61.8kg this month. There's not much changes during my 6 months pregnancy from the last month except:
    • My skin become very sensitive and itchy lately, especially around my arms, legs and belly. The worse is around my arms and the redness from constant scratching is unbearable. I didn't put on any cream. What works for me is Tanamera virgin coconut oil. The redness, itchiness and scars were gone in a few days!
    • I can be very tired easily. With the extra weight, I can't walk as fast as normal people. I walk very slow (I mean veryyyyyyyy slow!) and can't stand for a long time, otherwise I'll become all sweaty and feels like fainting. Hahaha dramatic kan?
    • I have a major problem to get up and walk after lying down. It's a serious problem especially at night when I have the sudden urge to pee. Seriously, my back aches like it's been flipped into two. Sometimes, I need help from my husband to lift me up. Otherwise when I'm alone most of the time, I'll just hang on to something solid to support me when I get up, slowly.
    • My appetite is back to normal, but I'm still choosy at times. Well, who doesn't? And I'm sure get all excited and fuzzy feelings when it comes to desserts. I have sweet tooth, yes I know.
    • I feel like my belly is too heavy sometimes and I have difficulties to move around, sleep and doing daily chores. Even sitting for some time is giving me sore too. I have to do everything in slow pace in order to keep up with my growing baby.
    • My baby is very active lately, especially during early morning and later at night. I can feel her flutters around and whenever I talked to her, she's kinda responsive. But she's quiet most of the time when my husband is around. Hehehe.
Here's me at 6 months pregnant, all puffed up and I'm proud of it. Hahaha!

Alhamdulillah the baby is growing well and healthy. I just have to maintain my weight and should consume more healthy food this time around. Speaking of that, I know I have to add more greens in my daily meals. Errkkkkkkk!
