Gilli Lollipop :: Sweet Celebration!

Lollipop_Bday~
Hi icon ArcheoButerfliesello people! We are helping the celebrations over Color me Creative  Classroom! Have you popped by? NO..Oh you don’t have any idea what you are missing out!
Lollipop_Bday_Front
For this celebration I prepared a sweet little card! Gilli Lollipop is having the time of of her life among all the sweet friends she has been making!!
For this project I used Gilli Lollipop colored with copics.  The added details I did using copic multilines…love love these pens…as much as I love my regular copics. The papers are My mind eyes and Martha Stewart and Lollipop_Bday_CloseUpCardstock from stash. My die cuts are from my own design (ballons) and Silhouette library. Dontcha love that cake!? The little sentiment was done by hand on a SU die cut. I added a touch of color around the card using distress inks. All the sparkly…Stikles..and inspired by my lovely friend Suzanne I made Gilli shoes a little glossy…nothing like a patent leather LOL. For thr effect Glossy accents was used all around (ballons and Lollipop).
I hope you will join at CMCC birthday celebration and check out the amazing classes…check out the coloring videos…You will be glad you did!

Bildmalarna stamp :: My orange therapy!

Bildie water~
Hello Everybody! We are starting a new challenge at SSCC! Challenge #2 the is water! Come and join us! The prizes are always super good!
Bildie water
Holly molly it has been hot around here. But I am loving it! Summer is a super nice season…but I have to say I can never pick a favorite ! I am enjoying having a party in the backyard…not a real party, but I have guests coming over regularly everyday. Bunnies, dears, raccoons, cardinals, finches, wood peckers, blue jays…these are just a few. Even a cute opossum drops by! I know they are so darn ugly, but so fluffy cute!!! I just love animals! I hope when fall comes they will continue to come by…
I think one of the colors that speaks summer is orange.Remember a while ago I said I need to conquer some of my fear of certain colors? Yeah! I did it again! Orange is one of my fear factor colors! HAHAH. Seriously I love oranges, clementines, etc. I admire touches or oranges in summer like patterns, but again I was always keeping my orange markers in the back of my pile….No more! Here is my bildie to prove it! Isn’t she lovely!? Hurray! So,  how about you…have you been conquering and experimenting?
My card features  bildmalarna stamp from spring bildmalarna stamp club! Have you order the Fall club yet? There is still time! Copics, ribbon, cardstock, cuttlebug embossing folder and glue dots were used to make this card.
I will add the copic list later today! See you all then!

Magnolia Stamp :: The baker & the Balloons

maggie_celebration~
Hello people! Gosh, I will spare you from what I am going thru. Just two words “ MURPHY’ LAW”.  Yeap. It is all over me. BUT since I am a person that try to look to the full side of the glass here I am!
The theme at Magnolia Stamp Lovers Challenge is “make a scene”… Boom! The idea just BAM! I am full of sound effects today….aahha. My idea for this card was to prepare a celebration scene where my dear Maggie show her creation! A cute fondant cake! Celebration without balloons is not a celebration. So I free hand some balloons with copics. I wanted to make them float plus a 3D effect so I reached for glossy accents some pop dots and floss! How did you like it? I had this glossy accents forever on my table and never used before….HA! I should not have waited so long. I am loving the stuff! Now if you excuse me I got some cake to take care of!
See yall!
Much luv

Bildmalarna :: A very happy friend

Hello all stamp lovers! Let's make this official. I am sure some of you notice my little banner on the side. Yeap, I am so happy to say that I will be having fun with sweet friends as a Bildmalarna Design team member! I am already having a good time with my dear senior dt's, they are so amazing and you bet they are preparing fantastic things for you to join the fun! You already can join us at the current Bilmalarna Challenge blog, the theme is make an easel card. Easy and FUN!
My easel card has what is becoming one of my favorites stamps from "mimosa' (a nick for bildmalarna), happy friends. I was  trying to keep it simple, and very generic. A card for all occasions. One of the reasons I like this image is the endless possibilities of how to paint. This time I tried my best to pull a nice horse feel...flickering and feathering, blending. I will say..I spent a long time on this image until I got more or less where I wanted to be! I am quite happy. I learned a lot...and the biggest lesson. Practice! : )
See you all . Don't forget to come by Bildmalarna challenge blog. Dont miss out on the exclusive images for the Club member!
Much luv

In case of emergency

Okay! The sun is shinning and suddenly everyone gets out of the house...the thing is that...somehow they show  up at yours! HAHAH.
I don't know about you, but after a hard winter where procrastination reigned, I got piles of things to put away! My Kitchen! OH dear! HAHAH. I need  a spring cleaning S.O.S. Thanks to my copics and a little dreammy brain. I made my wish come true. An emergency spring cleaning button. How about you? How badly you wish one of this?!
Super huge flowery hug

Ps:  By the way I entered this card at Cinema Saturday Creative, the inspiration movie is Julie and Julia. I have not seen this movie, but I know one thing about chefs and food tv shows..WHO CLEAN THE KITCHEN AFTERWARDS heheheh! My smart button sure came to mind as soon as I saw that theme!
The flowers around the switch is in honor of Nana's kitchen and that "lovely" springy wall paper (a great theme - flowers -  from Copic Creations challenge)! I used the great color choices by the guidelines at copic color challenge for my doodle flowers! Love it!

Magnolia Stamp :: Candy Happy!

Hello Everybody! I am so glad you are joining the fun at my Candy! Don't forget to put your name in the linkz! If you need help, check the helpline at the end of the post!

Well I am having a wonderful time reading all your comments. You have no idea how your words make me happy! It is so cool to visit you guys too! Now look who is also happy! My maggie! This is my latest idea. I used copics to color the magnolia stamp and also to create a little background for my little gal! I used what they call the blob method, heheh (have you read ilikemarkers blog?) to create most of the leaves and flowers. This was the first opportunity that I had to use my airbrush sys. Actually the copic airbrush feature actually was one of the first things that called my attention to these markers.
I got a little copic happy and I forgot to list my colors! So forgive me! If you have any questions about colors let me know (just use the shout out box on the side or leave me a comment). I will be more than happy to share!
I will add a a little This & That latter, okay? Thanks for dropping me a note!
XO

Magnolia stamp :: All dressed up for the occasion!

Oi (hello in Portuguese!) everyone!
Well, my Maggie collection is fairly small...so I try my best to dress them up!
Remember the days the ladies wore white gloves? My inspiration came from that time. So for this card I spruce up my Maggie! I am thinking to send this card as a Birthday card..I got a friend that she loved dress up!
Check it out the hat veil! I am in a quest to use different ways of coloring...and this time I tried to keep my colors fairly muted. I just really loved the possibilities that all those yummy Copic colors offered (it is pricey, but oh worth it!).
I would  love to hear what you guys think! How do you like the make over?
Thanks for dropping by!
See ya!

PS: Oh...keep in touch to find out what in that candy basket! It is good...maybe I should keep it.. Nah... You guys deserved!

Magnolia stamp :: Baby it is cold outside!

Hello dear friends!
Yeah baby! It is freeeezing outside. We have been under one of the coldest winter in 20 years! HA! I will not get into it. Don't try me...the scientist will pop up and you will see some passion here. : ). My geology (yes geology) classes were worth something! I loved them..so watch out!

Anyway, this week I had the opportunity to participate at a Challenge over Magnolia Stamps Lovers (MSL). The lovely sketch from Mindy brought me an instant idea...including pimping up a bit a magnolia stamp. Well it is all about new year and thinking outside of the box.
I turned the sketch upside down and triked things a bit ( witch here..nah: ) like using texture giving the image more dimension. See! That one stamp you got, can have a bazillion ways of make it up. So go ahead a get that stamp that you " need "! You bet now I will be needing a whole magnolia collection!!.
My idea was to see the Magnolia coming from outside into her little house with a cheery sunflower to spook the cold! I had fun  trying to make a cool door (with window glass on it and handle!). How about that wall paper...would you like me to decorate your space?..HAHHA. I will bring the cocoa!
