Hey jammers! Woo, my summer is off to a busy start – wildlife shelter, veterinary clinic, art-ing, friendships, cooking.. And Animal Jam!! How has the world of Jamaa been? It's interesting to see the community grow so quickly over the past few years, it's been a wild ride!

Hey jammers! Today's new item is the Hay Bale Couch on sale in Jam Mart Furniture! Perhaps we will see a  hay den item collection? I certainly hope so!

In celebration of the summer holidays beginning in America (although British players begin their summer holiday in July) AJHQ updated their social media cover picture with this cute beach background!

Paint Studio Update, Peck's Den, Hatapalooza and Pigs Announcement

Hi jammers! After hours of waiting, this week's update is finally revealed! This week's update feature is the Paint Studio - members can now turn their artwork into a neat den portrait! 

Each den frame costs two diamonds, although it may take up to two weeks for AJHQ to approve your artwork, so keep that in mind. Such a creative idea AJHQ!

Golden Soccer Goal and Soccer Ball Plus Play Marbles On Play Wild

Hi jammers! The recent new items seem to be the Golden Football and Golden Football Goal on sale in Epic Wonders (blue orb). Is there some kind of football event going on? I'm not a football fan, so I wouldn't have a clue. 

Quite pricey for two recoloured items if you ask me. Anyway, in my Play Wild update post I completely forgot to mention the new mini-game. Marbles is now available to play on mobile!

Spirit Snaps #11 – Pets

Hi all! As you might've guessed by the post title, it's time for another Spirit Snaps! As I announced (ages and ages) ago, the theme for this post is Pets! I'm glad to say I received a lot of amazing entries from you all.

Pets are a feature in Animal Jam, where you can create, customize and buy a miniature animal which accompanies your main animal. They were introduced back in 2011, originally as members-only. Underwater pets were soon added after Later, some nonmember pets were introduced (hamsters, in 2013). More recently, AJHQ has expanded how the pets interact- they now dance with your animals, play with your animals and much more!! Is there a specific pet animation you like? Feel free to leave it in the comment section below!!

Rare Ram Horns

Update: this week's RIM has been added to Jam Mart Clothing 

Hey jammers! AJHQ posted on the Daily Explorer claiming that today's RIM is available to purchase, but it seems the Rare Ram Horns aren't in store yet. Perhaps a little slip up on AJHQ's side?

Try and check back later! Moving on to Play Wild news, a new pizza den set has arrived in Jam Mart Furniture. I wonder when we will see a new den set come to Animal Jam on desktop?

Moonrise Manor Den and Epic Wonders on Play Wild

Hey jammers! Recently Play Wild updated with some neat new updates, including the opening of Epic Wonders. Firstly we have a new den: introducing the Moonrise Manor. 

This beautifully detailed den is available to purchase from the Sapphire Shop - certainly worth the sapphires! Next up, we have the grand opening of Epic Wonders underneath the waterfall in Coral Canyons.

New Plants and Diamond Animal Sale

Hi jammers! So sorry for the lack of posting, everyone is so busy at this time of the year. Firstly we have a set of new plants arriving in Treetop Gardens: the Mass Cane Plant, Chinese Evergreen Plant, and Boston Fern!

Down in Jamaa's oceans, we have the returning Sea Turtle Submersible, Octopus Submersible, and Shark Submersible in Sunken Treasures. Hopefully, we see more returning or even new ocean den items in the near future!

Animal Jam Toy Animal Figurine Collection

Hey jammers! My goodness, it's been a while, hasn't it? I'd been so tired after finals I fell into a hibernation it seems. But now time for summer!! And you know what summer brings, right?

Well, not only does it bring the hair-dresser furniture set, this summer will also bring Animal Jam's first figurine line! So many toys: bunnies, koalas, tigers, horses, foxes, deer... Oh my!

Hey jammers! Today's new item has appeared in several Epic Den showrooms, the Shoe Stand is now available to purchase in Jam Mart Furniture. What a lovely den item!

I'm still waiting for that bamboo plant that has also appeared in several showrooms!  And over at the fairground, we have a new Happy Drama Mask item!

Raccoons Come To Play Wild

Hey jammers! Play Wild has updated with the usual monthly update. Racoons have finally arrived in 3D on mobile -  these adorable critters are available from the Sapphire Shop!

In celebration of racoons calling Play Wild home, there is an all-new racoon minibook available to read at the Chamber of Knowledge! 

Hyenas Return, Summer Carnival, Accessory Preview Update, and Pigs?

Hey jammers! Today we have a lovely update featuring an improvement we've all been waiting for. Firstly, hyenas have finally returned from their travels!

These goofy animals are available at the diamond shop for ten diamonds. Next up, we have festival news! The Summer Carnival is back all summer long, always a jammer favorite! 

Epic Zios Glove & Diamond Shop Rocker Ouftit

Hey jammers! Woo, this time of year is tiring. Just a few more weeks though, and I'll be free for the summer! When does your break start? 

To make our wait more bearable there is the fantastic new Zios Glove, sold in the clothing orb of Epic Wonders. I love to see AJHQ bringing the lore into the gameplay in little ways like this. In other item news, we also have the long awaited ROCKER OUTFIT over in the Diamond Shop!
