Finished touching up the trooper, and started a little on the chassis.
My little corner of the web, dedicated to my hobby and ramblings. I play most Games Workshop games including their specialist range and have recently started playing RPG';s. I am always looking to improve and take my painting up a notch and any C&C are welcome :)

Sorry for the delay in posting vbut my computer decided to have its monthly hissy fit and refuse to behave.
Back online now and have a few in progress pics of the Heavy crewman/contraption kicker.

Colours are a little off in a couple of the pics, but you get the idea.

Primed and ready
I Managed to get enough tracks for another 10 tracked heavies so I will go ahead with more of these after i paint this one and the next squad.
Magnetised and primed ready to start painting ;o)
have made up a chap to walk along side and give it a swift kick to get it going again when the machine spirit plays up.

Prototype
Here is what i am thinking of doing for my heavies:

Crazy flaming head guy is for scale, plus he looks damn cool! ;oD
will magnetize the weapons so they can be swapped out, but the big problem i will have is getting tracks for them as Bitzbox and BitsandKits have been out of stock for yonks :o(
What do you guys think? shall i do these for all my heavy teams or should i just use normal set using cities of death bits for cover and etc... ?

First squad finished! woohoo!
Finally finished the 1st squad!
woo and indeed hoo!
although looking at the pics as i put them on here, i realise i forgot one chap's face but that will take seconds to resolve once i finish here.

Will try to take a better picture tomorrow when there is better light, but i am pretty happy with them ;o)
I am still trying to decide on whether or not to make or but my own bases but since my hobby fund is dry, i imaging i will make my own up. It would help if i could make up my mind on WHAT i actually want on the bases too i suppose ;o)
May go city fight or even just plain sand.
Next up is my 1st heavy weapon team which is a nice break from the squaddies. I don't have any pics at the moment but will dig out what i had been working on and take the snaps shortly.
Cheers for stopping by,

Mostly Armless ;o)
Making some good progress, I have 6 finished now and the next 4 just need their arms finishing up.
2 of the squad were recovered from my last abortive attempt at Imperial Guard. Trooper Santos and the plasma gunner have now joined the ranks ;o)

Not sure how i will paint the vox pack, but i am really happy with how it turned out \(Will take a better picture tonight), its not as bulky as the original and disguises the awful antenna the come with originally.
All comments and criticism appreciated, will be getting the few finished today and will do a heavy weapon squad as a treat to myself next ;o) which i think will be a good template to follow and keep the momentum going.
Paint a squad - convert and paint a heavy team.
I am looking forward to the heavies as i have a couple of ideas and a prototype i want to run by you all for c&c but i am resisting doing anything or posting now so that i actually finish off the rest of the squad first!
Back off to the paint dungeon i go!
Stay frosty people...

4 more down
Well, long time coming but have just finished (bar the arms) another four troops for the 1st squad.
Will be finishing a Special weapon trooper and a couple more grunts today and maybe even all the arms to bring the quad to 10 at last! and as a break i may convert up a heavy weapons team, for which i am thinking of doing something like a tarantula style or a mobile remote unit, if that makes sense? I just want something different to "gun leant on city of death wall or rubble"
