Doodle Pantry - Let us be Thankful

Happy Monday! It's September 20 and that means a new Doodle Pantry release. Isn't it fabulous to have a new release twice a month? I think so - wonderful new images to play with - what's not to like?
I think I'm in the mood for Fall cards as today I have another fall/thanksgiving card to show you. The image is from a brand new set called Let Us Be Thankful. I printed out the image on watercolor paper and after heat setting colored it with water based markers/inks and aquapainter. I wanted to keep the image as a focal point so I kept the card quite simple. Cardstock is More Mustard from SU and the DP is Basic Grey Indian Summer.

I'm entering the card into these challenges:
Stamp Something challenge - something digital.
Delightful Challenges - Pumpkins, pumpkins everywhere

Materials:
Image: Doodle Pantry - Let us be Thankful
Ink: printer toner, SU inks & markers, Distress inks
Paper: watercolor paper, SU More Mustard CS, Basic Grey - Indian Summer
other: flat back pearls, natural twine

PSC35- Belles 'n Whistles - Warm Apple Pie

Good morning and Happy Sunday!
This week's challenge on Paper Sundaes is to use 3 or more embelishments.
I used an image called Warm Apple Pie from Belles 'n Whistles - our sponsor for this week.
Image is colored with a mix of Copics and Prismacolor pencils - and the edges are chalked (more mixed media, eh?) :)
I was wondering what colors to use, so I went looking for inspiration online. When I saw the current challenge on Belles 'n Whistles blog - use warm colors (summer sun, real red, old olive) I new exactly what papers to use - my kit from Paperworks Co that I had since July. The colors are perfect. For the 3 or more embelisments I used a ribbon, 3 flowers, bling and pearls.

The sketch is from Sweet Wednesday Sketch and I'm also entering it into Simon Says Challenge (Holiday Fun) and Pile It On challenge (layers)
