{ what a great weekend! }

What a fabulous weekend we had! We started by the crack of dawn early on Saturday morning working on our closet project. We had made some plans to have family and friends over for dinner, so we got a good jump-start on things. We finished up the molding and painted the trim. We removed the heater and painted that too. (it was pretty nasty behind there)! I will get some photos with the sun in the room today and post tomorrow. We finished later last night and the incoming storms made for some fairly dark photos!
So once we finished for the day and cleaned up, we got our groceries and beverages and our company arrived. I feel like the summer has been a whirlwind with crappy weather, home study prep and home projects, let alone how busy i am with clients. So it was great to see everyone on Saturday, and 2 babies no less!

It had been about a month since we have seen our nephew Charlie, so he came and has

gotten so big!

Christopher is his "bud" so he gave him dinner...

When my best friend Meridith arrived, she had this adorable box for me from

her daughter Hailey...

I opened it up to find this...

it says..."I am the missing piece Mommy and Daddy were waiting for"... and....i lost it. It is the most precious gift ever, and means the world because we just have the best and most supportive friends and family through our journey.

We also tried to get some new photos for our cover photo on our profile. It has been a tad of a struggle, but i think we got it on Saturday

So the food was great, the company was awesome and having the kids around was amazing.

Miss Hailey is crawling now so she enjoyed a blanket on the lawn.

It was just so hot on Saturday, that after a fantastic day, we just crashed and watched a late night movie. Clemens was beat too... he loves company but decided it was just as long for him too.
