Two recent layouts
The first page shows my kids in 1996, running in a field by our summer cottage. A detailed picture would show how stained their shirts were!!! lol
It was featured on Creative Inspiration blog.
This layout is my contribution to Heather Taylor's typography challenge at Mscraps. The objective was to create a contrast in titlework or journaling. Is it urgent enough? :)
Snowshoeing trip to Matrimony Ridge, south of the Lake Tahoe. I actually erased my hand with a sandwich from this photo so it wouldn't show that is was only a refueling stop.
Hope it's not cheating in the challenge, Heather! lol

i heart this moment
I didn't plan this layout. I only wanted to use the B&W photo of my daughter. It totally changed the direction I was going to do it by itself! Honestly! I really like the way it turned out, so dark, so unusual, I would like it on a little canvas. That, I plan.

Balloon Races
1: me, from a safe distance and right next to a picnic basket full of goodies, although I forgot that the exposure meter of my camera was set to "Spot" and I was happily and unknowingly wasting time on badly exposed pictures!
2: my husband trying his new Sony Nex5, the first compact camera with APS-C sensor, and equipped with some extra lenses, he was bravely taking close-up shots and deserves all the credit. Well, the most of it. :)

Framed 4
It's the new kit from Heather T. at The Digichick. Often, I feel like many kits look a lot alike, they come and go but these beautiful frames are something that will stay in my "active inventory"!
my page about Vltava River, Prague
( if you like classical music listen how Czech composer Smetana evokes the sounds of the water in his set of genial symphonic poems My Motherland: from a little stream to the wide majestic river flowing through the capital )
I had this music in my head when playing with this photo and creating the layout, it makes me proud of my heritage and I want to cry

Busy weekend
Wheew!!
1- Friday:
In June, I visited Museum Orsay in Paris which was being remodeled and half of the works of impressionists was moved to San Francisco for the time being. At the last minute, I decided to drive there ( to SF) with my daughter because the exhibition was ending after the Labor Day weekend. While waiting for our designated time window at the De Young Museum, we visited Botanical Gardens and Hagiwara Tea Gardens in Golden Gate Park.
