These two water passageways for Kenduskaeg Stream in downtown Bangor merge together to form a large tributary and flow into Penobscot River.

It is the first of the month again and the theme for October is CONTRAST. This photo shows the contrast between clear and blurriness, light and shade, etc.

I walked outside to take a personal phone call when I saw interesting vine growing up against the brick wall. I thought it looked pretty cool so I quickly snapped the photo and went back inside to join the party.

Theme Photo: Big

Today is the first of the month, which means it theme photo day again. This month's theme is BIG. This photo of the Ferris Wheel was taken last month at the Bangor State Fair.

iPhone Wednesday #1

Kim of Seattle Daily Photo started a photo theme a couple months ago called iPhone Wednesday and since then, Chuck of One A Day - Mostly Seattle has joined in. I am posting my first iPhone Wednesday photo today.

This photo was taken in front of McLachlan Seafood, Inc. on Main Street in Bangor. On one side of the building is a retail store that sells live lobsters as well as other seafood items. On the other side is a lobster shack that serves steamed lobsters, baked clams and a host of other seafood dishes.

So what is your favorite seafood dish?

Theme Photo: Night

This is the first of the month which means it's theme photo day. The theme for August is 'Night'. This photo was taken at the Bangor State Fair at around 8 PM on Saturday evening. The sun has set but the sky remained blueish.
