earlier this year, you might remember I created two gnome paintings (see below)

a friend asked if the gnome would be out from under the mushroom soon?

I said I wasn't sure.

he made a suggestion:

He is standing, his back to the viewer in a field of mushrooms, watching a sunrise

I took his suggestion

Nearing Spring Equinox

I came across a photo someone took of me

at Hearst Castle

this is such a fun dress to wear

usually i make up the characters in my art

not even looking at photos

it was so much easier drawing from this photo

she found a light

much like the light within her heart

which gave her wings

to fly

gazing

at my wooden ceiling

i noticed a fairy

sitting on a snail

well that got me out of bed and sketching

smile

inspiration can be found in endless ways
