Or so I thought. I was moving this massive oatmeal jar to the other side of the counter and it slipped and fell on the bowl, shattering it. All gone.
Immediately the scripture "Pride goes before the fall" came up in my spirit and I was heartily convicted. So much so that I couldn't feel bad over the loss. Only grateful that the Father cares so much that He would check my heart and reel me in.
The scripture actually says,"Pride goes before destruction, and a haughty spirit before a fall." Even worse \~"
(By the way, destruction means breaking, fracture, crushing, crash, ruin, shattering. Yup, that was destruction.)
Being thankful and grateful is the right heart attitude, not pride. I'm checking in to see if there's anything else. Sigh.

P.S. I salvaged a shard from the trash this morning
to put in a plant on the kitchen sink.
A reminder:
Blessed be the name of the Lord
