Make Stuff May #21: Land of the Free by Mill Hill

Another Mill Hill full coverage start. These take so long despite their size! But this one is well and truly started. Since it's patriotic, it will probably be done sooner rather than later.

 

Local Buy

Bought all this from Coricamo, an online store here in Poland. Which means I get 23% tax back. A lot of it's in my "to start next" jar to pull out.

Another start with more cross stitch than beading. This is almost full coverage, so it will be slow going.

I didn't have the right tools for my beading on home leave, so Andreas got me this at Michaels.

 

I Made a Necklace

While on home leave, I brought some things I normally don't get to at home. This necklace is one of those things. I had to make -all- the links myself, so I got a bit more used to twisting wire. Anyway, here it is and I've worn it a few times, too.

I had been carrying this around as my purse project forever, but it's done and made into a bright ornament now. Brighter than the photo. Andreas got the color balance off.
