A New Day and Brick Live and Full

No, I'm not talking about Martin Barre's New Day. It's a New Day for the blog. It happens I'm quite involved with Jethro Tull once more, listening a lot, reading a lot, putting things together for a Tull project I hope one day I'll be able to disclose to you all. Tull it's one the things in my life that comes and goes all the time but never leaves for good. I just really stopped due to the big dissapointment of having all my posts of years wasted by Mediafire's decision to shut down my account. I'm not capable now of uploading the bootlegs once more because I have no access to them at this moment. My external HD has just died and my main notebook is with a weird problem. I can't log on in my admin account, so everything is locked there. Safe but inacessible for now.
I'll begin, however, to post a few things in here. I don't really know what I'll be posting in the future, but yesterday I came accross a Youtube video that ignited my sleeping, but not dead, pleasure to share Tull through this blog. So without any more delays, a Pro-shot film of Jethro Tull's Ian Anderson & Band perfoming Thick As A Brick live, like the old days. It's nice to see this. The music is really well played, the overcoats, the phone thing updated with Skype, and Ryan O'Donnel helping out really well with the vocal parts.
Really awesome. Hope you enjoy! Oh, and leave a comment, so I can see if this blog still has any audience at all!

Keep on Tullin'!

Novos videos do velho Tull ("New" Old Tull)

I always visit Youtube and search for the last uploaded videos with Tull in the name, and I end up watching several videos from recent shows, lots of old well known videos and, occasionally, some new pearls. Well, just got some pearls.
Two videos of a Tull presentation in a French TV show named "A Vague To The Smile- The Joconde", in the beginning of 1970, uploaded by TheHammond1986. I had already saw photos of this presentation, but nothing in video. Really nice to see it, and to see how animated is the "Youtube Tull Community", the guys I've talked
about here and others, everybody astonished with the new old Tull.
The videos are presentations of Bourée and Living In The Past.
The photos I saw are in the photo galleries at Glenn Cornick's website. There are of this presentation, click in the miniature below to go straight to the page they're in the album.

Apparently the recording was in September 30th, 1969, and according to the videos, the broadcast took place in January 11th, 1970. Enough talking, you may now see the videos, and thank you very much for sharing this amazing material TheHammond1986!

Então qual é a novidade? Simplesmente fabuloso! Confiram abaixo, e TheHammond1986, valeu de novo cara!
Just realized there's more! TheHammond1986 also posted a video long known by Tull fans, from 69, also in France, but I don't no if it was shot in the same occasion than the other two. This is the one with the band playing in a soccer field. So what's different this time? It's from the Master Tape! Which means it has the best quality I have ever saw this video in in my life! Check it out below, and TheHammond1986, thanks again!

P.P.S.: Eu amo a internet. Alguns meses atrás encontrei Glenn Cornick no Facebook, e é realmente ele.
I love the internet. Some months ago I found Glenn Cornick's Facebook profile, and it's really him. Then yesterday I sent him a link to the Bourée video (the studio one) and he answered, as you can see below. He really liked it. It's amazing to be able to interact with him through the internet

Tulletti Projects

Hello folks!

It's been a while since I updated the blog for the last time, I've been a little busy lately, but as I said before, let's talk a little about these great guys who maintain these awesome channels on Youtube with really rare Tull material.
I'll start with Tulletti Projects, where the young Nick gives humanity some hope by showing that not all kids are doomed musically. Nick trades videos with people from everywhere, and since most of the videos are mute, he syncs them with audio from bootlegs recorded by the same time, even the same show. The result: a channel full of lost pearls to make every and all Tull fans stunned.
I must point out that Nick does his work for fun, and gives it away freely, and that's something I admire, because I had already seen people who have this egocentric pleasure of being the only one to have some recording. Nick sent to me a lot of his syncs, thanks again for that Nick!
Enough writing, let's see some reasons why you must sign Nick's channel and stay tunned, it's just a few selected videos from his channel, there's much more from where it came:

Jethro Tull on Youtube
