Night out with the Cusmanos

Saturday night we went out with our new friends the Cusmanos. Jack and Justin play hockey together (different teams, but they practice together) and they have been doing skating lessons together. We are also going to start having both boys go to private lessons with Zac together so they can learn to pass, go after the puck together instead of just one on one.

We have not known them for very long, but we just click - It helps that we all enjoy hockey and both plan our life around hockey and kids :) Last night we went to Old Chicago for dinner and then to a Rivermen game. By the end of dinner (and 2 mountain dews later) I think it's a good thing it was time to go or they might have asked us to leave!! J/K - but the boys were getting a little hyper!

Justin and Jack wiht the little pizza boxes off of the table that they use to advertise gift cards.... but they thought it would be better to use them for hats!

Justin and Jack ready to go out and pick up the Chuck-a-Pucks during intermission

The DQ coupons that dropped from the blimp

They like dancing during the break in plays...Jack is not really scared of Justin - just looks like it in this picture :)

Here are just some pictures from around the house today! Mason is SO CLOSE to rolling over - any day now :) I didn't finish the lights before we had to get ready for dinner/hockey with the Cusmanos, but hopefully the weather will cooperate tomorrow too - it was almost 60 and sunny here today! Once I get all of my lights up then it can get snowy and cold :)

Thanksgiving Day

This year Kent, Sue, Kurt & Ashley came to our house for Thanksgiving. They got there just in time to watch the Lions lose for the 8th time in the last 9 years on Thanksgiving :( We had a fun time, ate turkey, played poker, went shopping and they headed home on Friday. Kurt & Ashley stayed until Saturday morning so they went to BW's and Rivermen hockey with us on Friday night - we had a good time!!

Here are some pics from Thanksgiving Day....

Getting ready for Thanksiving.....

Wednesday night (what used to be the biggest bar night of the year....a long long time ago!) after Rivermen Hockey, Justin and I got the turkey ready to cook for Thanksgiving. Rob's parents and Kurt & Ash were coming Thursday around noon, so we did all of the prep work we could the night before. Justin was a big helper and actually stuck his hand in the turkey, which I didn't think he'd do :)

Playhouse Disney LIVE!

On Sunday November 22nd, we went to Playhouse Disney Live at the Civic Center. It was just Rob, Justin and I and we had so much fun! I bought the tickets back in May - and booked our sitters before Mason was even born :) Thanks for watching him Katie & Josh! He liked the show, but it was hard because it was at noon and that is normally nap time, so he was not as peppy as I expected he woudl be. After the show we went to BW's (Justin picked the place) and then to buy a new Christmas tree! We had a fun date day with Justin. He's such a good big brother and it's nice to spend some quality time with just him...

START HERE!

Okay - it's been a while since I've blogged and I feel WAY behind. I am going to do quite a few posts in the next day or so to catch up and then try to stay on top of things! Try might be the key word there :)

Here are just some pics from around the house. I love the boys new matching PJ's! I like the one of Mason's big eyes too - he does that a lot with the orange light on the camera now!

Nosefrieda

Everyone who has a baby needs one of these. Seriously. It sounds absolutely disgusting (and it is) but it works SO GOOD! You put a few saline "Lil Nose" drops in each nostril and then put this up to their nose and you suck on the other end of the tube. You will get more out of their noses then you could ever even think of with a bulb syringe. It sounds gross, but there is a filter that prevents anything from even going into the tube. When you order one, get the extra filters since they are only 2.50 for 20 of them. I use this thing probably twice a day and it helps Mason breath so much better when he's all stuffed up (like our whole family is right now!).

It is a Swedish product that is now sold at Whole Foods I believe, but I just ordered mine online at www.nosefrida.com/

Hockey!

Here are some pictures from the last week or so of hockey :) We are at the rink 4-5 days/nights per week so I can't always remember what pictures are what days! Enjoy!

Team picture by the ice!
Standing behind the photographer :) He told me I could so I have a picture for our company website...
Justin & Mason at the Peoria Mustangs game last week. The flash didn't work but I loved how awake and happy Mason was!
Me and my boys! I love being a mommy :)
Justin at practice today - so cute!

Brooks....we let him pick his jersey first and he picked 3 - cuz he's 3! Duh; simple logic :)
