Happy 14th Birthday!

This was a super simple car I made in about 15 minutes. My son had a birthday to go to and the kid was turning 14 so I decided to go with the candle numbers from Sweet Treats. I cut them at 4 inches. I think it turned out pretty cute and to the point :) All DCWV paper. I'm linking this to...

Jenny's Big 3-0H! Birthday Blog Hop

Hello everyone, welcome to Jenny's birthday blog hop. I am so excited she allowed me to be apart of her big day, THANKS Jenny I hope you have the best birthday ever and enjoy your thirties! :) If you arrived here from Kara's Sweet Creations then your in the right place. If you just happened to come across my blog and want to start from the beginning then click HERE. There are some great prizes to win so you should definitely hop along and check out everyone's blogs :)
For my project I decided to go with the big 3-0H theme! All Jenny asked was for us to use 3 colors and some bling. I knew I wanted a cupcake so I picked up Once Upon A Princess and used the one on there, cutting it at 3-1/2 inches. I added some bling for the sprinkles and some course glitter to make it look like sanding sugar. I also tied some Honeydew Twine around the bottom of the cupcake and adhered the cupcake liner with pop dots. The word "happy" is from Just Because Cards cut at 4 inches. I sent that through my Xyron upside down and then added glitter to the top. The "3" and "0" are from Sweet Treats cut at 1-1/2, I did the same thing with the glitter to the top of those and also the "H" that was cut from Cricut Classic font at 1-1/4. Paper is all from DCWV Sweets stack and other DCWV that I've had.
I do have a blog candy so if you want some chances at winning this then here's what you can do...

Cupcake box

I made this cute box for fun, I cut the box from Sweet Treats at 3-1/2 and used all my different colored stickles for the sprinkles, the flower is cut from green shimmer paper and then I added a button with some sparkle fibers through the middle. The yellow cardstock was ran through my paper crimper and inked with platinum planet ink. The tag was cut from Stamped at 2-1/2 I inked the yellow cardstock again with platinum planet ink and stamped a sentiment from Scrappy Moms Stamps. I also made the filler paper by running it through my paper shredder and then through the paper crimper. I added a wire handle to carry it.

Robotz Birthday Party Day 2- Treat Boxes!

Welcome to day #2 of the Robotz birthday party decorations. Today I am showing the treat boxes made with the Sweet Treats and Robotz cartridges. I used my 12x24 mats and paper to cut the boxes at 8 inches from the Sweet Treats cartridge (page 38) this box worked perfectly for the robot shape but its actually a wedding cake! Gotta love the multi purpose cuts :) Then with my gypsy I cut the mouths, screens, antenna and gears making them the approximate size I needed. I added googly eyes, washers on the gears and then some wire coiled around a large dowel for the arms. I also added the same wire across the top for a handle to carry.

Here are some close up shots for a better view!

Still Crawling... birthday cupcakes with a surprise!

My mother in law has got to be one of my biggest fans, every year she asks me to make nearly 200 cards fro all her nieces and nephews and well... EVERYONE! This is what I came up with for her to send to her kids and grand kids.. cupcakes! Not just any cupcakes but cupcakes with a fun little pocket to hold some $$, this would make any kid or adult smile :) I used the Sweet Treats cartridge and cut the cupcakes out at 4 inches on some CTMH Chocolate cardstock then I cut the cupcake wrapper out on DCWV paper. I only adhered the sides and bottom of the wrapper. Then I used a white gel pen to highlight the cherry on top. The stamp is from CTMH as well. Thanks for stopping by today and be sure to check back tomorrow... there will be a giveaway :)
