Little Works of Art
Welcome Back! It's Laury again.
I love mixing it up. This card borrows from printmaking, scrapbooking and general marker work. If that sounds interesting, hop on over to my blog for more details. Projects of this nature fall under the catagory of little works of art. They can be mounted on a card or framed or both... Each print is different and with a little embellishment you can bring out the uniqueness of the print. When I was done I finished up with a couple of spritzes from Ranger Perfect Pearls Mists; Perfect Pearl. This mist has no color just some nice sparkle. Love it!
Hope you were inspired to try something new! Until next time.
Be sure to stop back tomorrow for more inspiration.

Welcome Back! It's Laury again from justlaury at paperthreads.com. Today's theme is Wedding Invitation. This is a simple card but I love the lacy feel.
The dahlia design comes from Paper Source's Mum Outline Flo no. 871485. I stamped the design on a light piece of paper using black ink. I then took a picture of it and brought it into Make-The-Cut design software to create vector cutlines. I had to clean it up a bit but not much. I split the design in half and attached it to a rectangle. The card is cut from cover stock. I think that a velour paper would make an awesome cover.
Another variation for this card would be to use a simple rectangle for the invite and then use the cut piece for the RSVP and information part of the invite. The card could also be closed with a ribbon or a strip of handmade Japanese paper. A note, if you do use a specialty paper, be sure to match your other papers to it.
So, consider your stamp collection, do you have any that could be turned into cut files? If you plan to sell the cards or designs, then make sure you understand the copyright and licensing issues pertaining to the stamp.
Well that is all for today, do stop by tomorrow for more inspiration.
Until next time,
Laury

Wedding Wrap
I created this file to cut a delicate wrap for an invitation. The yellow/cream is a paper insert that the invitation for a Wedding could be printed on. Some call this a wrap and some call it a sleeve. Either way it is a delicate touch to add around the wedding invitation. This file was posted as a freebie on my blog. It may still be available for a short time. Here is the link it was posted at on my blog. If you do use it and post anywhere, please add the HashTag #VDBC so I can see what you've created.
Hope you Enjoy!

Wedding with that handmade touch
Darla back again today with a wedding card for you.
Since the front of this is not really a wedding image but instead an image hand picked by the bride this card could easily be made into any occasion.
A custom made by me stamp made these truly unique and one of a kind.

Please go to my blog here for more details on how this was made.

Wedded Bliss
Kelly George here today with another lovely wedding idea. I hope it inspires you as much as the other fabulous ideas we've had on this theme. The color inspiration came from the cover of an old Papercrafts magazine that happened to be on top of the pile next to my scrap desk - I'm not the neatest scrapper;)

For details on how to make this card, visit my blog, Sassy Scrapper Studio. See you next time!
