Good. Really Good Stuff.

Brent and I watched a 'Flight of the Conchords' episode the other night and it totally rekindled my love for the Bret and Jermaine. They are so hilarious and witty. All in all they just put me in a good mood. Soooooo I thought I'd share the love........enjoy! oh the dove part is the best! ****thanks to good ole Heather and Kevin, us Carters have become major fans of 'Flight of the Conchords'!****

resemblance much?

My parents wanted to see this particular picture of my father next to sweet little Atticus, (my nephew) to compare similarities. This is the best picture I could find, seeing I don't have any pictures of Atticus AND Meshan hasn't updated her blog in years. My opinion is they look very similar especially through the mouth. either way both are adorable...(I could really use an update, Meshan!)

Ode to love...

Here is a little recap of Doug and Jen's wedding this past weekend. Now I realize there aren't many pictures of the happy couple, but trust me, they have enough. The photographer was so picture happy that they weren't around much. I am excited to see all of them soon! (maybe when Jen gets her own blog. wink, wink) Jen looked gorgeous, and Doug of course looked handsome...they are adorable. I loved Jen's hair, the flowers, and my two bald boys. I sure had fun!

Bop-uh-da Bop-uh-da Baaah!

Farmington Triathlon Amy, Becca and I participated in a triathlon as a team last month. It was fun, freakin hard, and super enlightening. (how do people do those all by themselves--Lindsay?) Amy did the swim, I did the run, and Becca did the bike. My favorite part of the race: when I heard my sister talking to someone, not knowing that I was standing by say "oh shoot, don't tell Markelle" I of course immediately chimed in "don't tell me what?" The lady Becca was talking to was telling her how her son who runs college cross country told her that this run (and bike) is one of the harder races he does. lovely. This all occurred while Amy was swimming just minutes before my debut! Even though this was only six miles...by far (way far) the hardest race to date I've run. Amy's favorite part of the race: When we arrived, they already had a buoy set out. so we were thinking "cool, you just have to swim to the buoy, around it, and then back." We continued this positive banter trying to talk Amy up because let's face it the swim is probably the scariest event. Later on Shad comes to watch and comments "that can't be the swim! that's way too close." Literally minutes before the race starts men on motor boats start pulling two other buoys farther out in the lake. Poor Amy, we quickly had to find more reasons why this was "better." She of course rocked it and all said worrying above was in vain! Becca's favorite part of the race: I think about half way through her event, she dropped her chain and spent the next 5-10 minutes putting it back on...oh, and her nemesis' name was Rebecca too! (just this random girl that Becca took turns with passing each other back and forth.) ***I didn't actually ask Amy and Becca what their favorite part of the race was, rather all three parts are MY favorites.***
