Happy Hawaii Post

Hawaii was a BLAST! When the sun blessed us with it's rays we were on the beach making sand castles and burring Oakley in the sand. She loved the sand and ocean. Whenever we left the beach she would ask us if we were still in Hawaii? When I'd tell her yes! She would say,"I want the other Hawaii." (meaning the beach). Pineapple ice cream is the greatest thing ever made. We saw all the Island due to the rain we had lots of time to drive around which we love doing anyways. The North Shore had the best Mexican food and again the ice cream... Holy Cow, it was true love!  We stopped at a shrimp shack because some friends told us it's the best ever. Well, needless to say when the shrimp came out with black eye balls staring at me I was not sure, I went ahead and started eating them but once I saw the blood from pulling the heads off. (puke) I lost my appetite real fast and was ready for a McDonald's after that. I made a horrible noise every time we passed a shrimp cart after that. I know super mature.... We saw the temple and went to the PCC which was amazing and nothing like I thought it would be. I have not laughed that hard in a long time. Something I found interesting about the Temple was above the fountain it said Maternity! We had so much fun exploring this beautiful Island and being together as a Family.
My cute mom came as our
Babysitter so we could go out at night.

My Bitter Hawaii post

When you think of Hawaii this is one of the many beautiful pictures that come to my mind. Blue sky, blue green water, swimming suits and sunscreen. Warm weather and the time of your life letting the sun kiss your skin brown.

Well this is our Hawaii, we are standing on the very same beach as the picture about. I don't see blue sky, the water is poo brown, We are not in swimming suits, the sun has not shown it's self in 5 days, Sunscreen what the heck is that. Brown skin, thast for a different race. Oh, and you can't see it in the picture but it is raining. Awesome! I'm so glad I spent all the money to go to beautiful Hawaii for 8 days and got to enjoy flash flood warnings, the first hale storm in 50 years. Thunder storms that scared me half to death, We couldn't even go over to Kauai like planned because half the roads got washed out. Not to mention we went Whale watching in the rain because we were determined to have a good time and I got the first stages of Hipothermia. Seriously who can say that. What a pathetic place so many call beautiful. HAHAHA if I sound completely BITTER it's because in this moment I could care less to ever go to the Islands again.
We really did have a blast and I'll go back some day. But those words are for my Happy Hawaii post not yet posted.....

Snow Finally

I didn't think we would get enough snow to make a snowman this year. But Finally 2 days before we go to Hawaii we got 2 whole inches. wooo hooooo..... This is the first snowman we've made since Oakley was born. She had more fun eating the snow then helping but I sure did have fun. Even our snowman is ready for Hawaii. Hhahah Yes, I'm a dork.
