Gingerbread Boy Christmas Box!

Hello friends!
I have a fun Christmas box to share with you today.  It uses Whimsy Stamp's new Gingerbread Fun set! I pulled out my colored pencils for this project for a change of pace.  I fussy cut him out and added googly eyes.  I created the box using the Hexagon Treat Box and kraft card stock.  I added red and light blue card stock to the box using the Nested Hexagon Die set.  The light blue was given a bit of texture using the Sweater Embossing Folder.
I added glossy accents to the globe, jingle bells tied to silk ribbon, and puffy paint to the Gingerbread Boy's icing.
Thank you all so much for stopping by today!
Be sure to stop by Whimsy Stamps and see their full release!

Shenanigans!

Hello friends!
St. Patrick's Day is right around the corner and I have a few projects to celebrate! I used Whimsy Stamp's Hexagon Treat Box and their St. Paddy Shenanigans stamp set.  I colored this double fisted guy with Copics and fussy cut him out.  I stamped the sentiment on a lime green paper and cut it into a banner shape.  The Rainbow Magic Paper was cut using the Nested Hexagon die slightly smaller than the box.
Glossy accents was added to the beer mugs and once it was dry I added some white gel pen highlights.  I tied a bit of twine, added a teeny flower from the Sprinkletz-Garden Party collection and tucked the sentiment banner underneath it.
My image was popped up onto the box using Crafty Foam Tape.

This was so much fun to make!
I will have a couple more St. Paddy's Day projects to share later this week!
Have a great day!

Whimsy Stamp's New Release!

Hello friends! Today is the weekend before Thanksgiving, and it is also Whimsy Stamp's new release!
This new set called, Christmas Deer (Yes, I know, no reindeer on today's project! These are the sidekicks in the set! ;) is so stinking cute!
I mean look at this bunny and penguin!
I colored both images with Copic Markers and fussy cut them out.
I wanted to make some treat boxes for my coworkers at school, so my "go to" is the ATC Book Die Set. It is a perfect way to give little treats or a gift card!  I jazzed up the edges with some glossy accents and glitter.
For the front of the boxes I used papers from the SurReally Cool Christmas Slimline paper pack. and the Stained Glass Window Die to frame my cute critters.  I added Crackle texture paste to add a bit of "snow."  I added some silk ribbon, jingle bells, and a pom pom for the penguin's hat.

Thank you so much for stopping by!
Be sure to stop by Whimsy Stamps to see the full release!
It's an awesome one!

Pumpkin Spice Anyone?

Hello!
I don't want to start a war or anything, but are you a pumpkin spice fanatic? Are you the person who the first day it comes out, you are in the drive-thru giddy with excitement?  ;)  Well, that's me....LOL.  I love summer, don't get me wrong, but fall is my jam.  Something about it gets me.  The cooler weather, fall clothes, comfort foods.........
I created these little fall inspired treat boxes from Whimsy's Gnome So Thankful stamp set.  The image was stamped in Tim Holtz Antique Linen ink on water color paper.  I used a no line water coloring technique with my Karin Brush Markers. Once it was dry I splattered it with white gouache.
I cut out the image using the Pierced and Stitched Circles Die set.  The treat box was from the Mini Treat Box Die.  I adhered the circular image using Crafty Foam Tape.  I added the sentiment, a pearl, twine and a couple of leaves from the Build-a-Pumpkin Patch Die set.
Thank you so much for stopping by today!
If you would like to see Whimy's full August release so far, be sure to head on over to their store!

31 Nights of Halloween-Day 26!

Hello friends! Michele here with a not so frightening Halloween Treat Box! I am a bit partial to "cutesy" Halloween. ;)
So for my treat box, I started with the adorable Spooktacular set.  Who doesn't love a selfie taking ghost? I colored him with Copics and fussy cut him out.
I created a shaker box using the Hexagon Treat Box Die and the Nested Hexagon Dies
I glued the acetate behind the yellow frame and popped it up with Shaker Maker Foam Tape.  I filled it with these fun Hocus Pocus Sprinkletz.  I tied black string and added one of the Sprinkletz to the center of the bow.  I added glossy accents to his eyes as a final touch

Thank you so much for stopping by today!!
