2009 总结 A summary of 2009

2009 is a turbulent year.

Lot of uncertainties, especially my career, I worked for 4 companies in this year alone. A record breaking of job changes in my life.

Due to my current company shutdown the local operation, I moved to a hell job. Stayed for 4 months, jeopardized my health, tortured my mental, stressed up my life and then I quit.

Thanks to a great friend who brought me to a college as tutor. Life was easy and fun, but pay is low and slow pace. As the sole bread winner, coupled with my "progressive" character, this is not a place for long term.

End of 2009, I managed to find a job, not my cup of tea, but it gave me my daily bread($) and job security. Today, I'm still looking for a job which can satisfy me. Job statisfaction does matter.

I have moved to my new house, I like this house, especially my bedroom, I can have a good sleep every nite. Of course, this house cost me a fortune, which I may need another 30-40 years to gather.

I admited to hospital due to my health problem, went thru a minor surgery, this was my first surgery, I've fully recovered but it left a phobia. The recovery stage was painful.

I converted as christian after my surgery. Life became much easy now, no fengshui, no superstition, no astrology, no idolize worshipping. Just believe in one God, Jesus and Words of God.

Leyi seemed to adore the spiritual work more than me. She loves going to church, never lazy in bed in every Sun morning. She read Bible stories, applied in daily life and she made wonderful phrase quoted from Bible. For instance, she said "new year, new school, new house, but not new God. Because there is only One God". She did confession to God (I made her to) when she done a sin.

We changed our bedtime routine to read short article from Bible every nite. Not only her spiritual level was improved, her english reading improved a lot too.

After they modified my photos, it is not me anymore. It doesn't look like me:
- I have open pores
- I have pimple scars and black spots on my face
- my face is more puffy
- I dont have the sharp figure

Holidays and Getting Ready to School

We spent our holiday and New Year countdown in KL. Finally we made it to the Sky Bridge (Level 41) of Petronas Twin Tower. Quit up as early as 7.30am and got the 1pm ticket at 9.30am. A great view from the bridge linked between 2 towers.






















Back from KL, we had a busy weekend to prepare for school, a new school bag, hair cut (the super warm weather and the school uniform made her surrendered and willingly cut her hair short) and attended the school orientation. She seemed to lose patience in the hair cutting process, she was stretching arms, 嘟嘴 and moving her body, while I was busy captured the photos (haha).

The boy sit next to her was her classmate in Kindergarden, she was happy as she was not alone in this new school.

Christmas...

As usual, we setup the Christmas tree and this round I let her to fully in charge of decorating the tree. We placed the graduate photo keychain as the ornament.

We went to a shopping mall and took some photos with Garfield and Friends.

Visited sister's house, took picture with the Christmas tree, please notice the cute little pink ballerina. Aren't she is sweet? She was getting ready to her ballet class. I can't stop pinching her belly hahaha....
We found this beautiful tiny flower along the seaside driveway in FIZ. So, it became one of my masterpiece.

The Joke of Godmom干妈笑话一则

My godmum came to Penang to attend a friend's wedding dinner. We went to hotel to meet her.
She came with a groups of friends from Batu Pahat, so I took them around, as a temporary tour guide for 1 day.

On the way to hotel to meet my godmom, we had this conversation:

女儿: 什麽是干妈？为什麽是干的？有没有湿的妈？
我(正在努力的思考中): 干妈是多一个妈妈来爱我们，来照顾我们。
女儿: 我们已经有阿嘛了呀?
我: 这个干妈对我很好，所以我当她是我的另一个妈。
女儿: 可是为什麽叫"干的妈"？
我: 哎哟，干妈就是Godmom. (我试图用英文解释, I thought it will be easier to explain)
女儿: 什麽god?
我: 就是oh my god 的god.
女儿: 啊，就是"吓了一跳"的妈？为什麽是oh my god 吓了一跳的妈?

转了一大圈，我们又回到原来的问题，看来我还是不能满足她的疑问.

Make Over and 2008年度國際花卉節

Make Over and 2008年度國際花卉節
Having a Make-over is a popular must-do for most people, especially youngster, to record their youth time with a total make over, beautiful scenery and nice costume.
I never did it when I was young, till last week, there was a promotion on Kose skin care and the make over is FOC, so... why not.
Before that, I had to explain to my girl to get her approval. She said I taught her not to "too emphasize on outlook", then why I would go for the makeover myself? This was conflict with my teaching to her.
Well, well, nowadays, she has been very smart to reasoning with me. I have to explain and consoled her, this makeover was given free, else I won't spend a penny on thing like this.
So, here are my photos, taken by my own camera. The one taken by the pro was yet to be developed by the studio house. I will post it later when it's ready.




International Flora Festival is here. We went Botanical garden and managed to take some photos. As usual, we did some silly "see me jump" scene and it's fun.
