Happy Birthday Kort!!!!

Kort's 5!!! I can't believe it. We had a family party at Palisades for Kort, Madison, and Alex. Kort felt pretty special.

Robyn made each of the birthday kids these Awesome cakes. Thanks Robyn!!!

On his birthday we went to the pool with some cousins.

We love the new slide.

Kort adds so much to our family. He has the cutest personality. He is so laid back and easy going, and says the funniest things. At the end of the day he asked me when his birthday was. I told him it was almost over. He looked down at himself and said "I don't look 5". He is so excited for school to start, even though he is still in preschool. Only one more year till kindergarten!!!

Celebrating the fourth

We love celebrating the fourth here in our small town. We do the same thing every year, but love every minute of it.

The kids were able to ride their bikes in the parade Friday night.

Jaydee actually loved the sparklers.

Saturday morning started off with breakfast at the park,

dunking uncle Andy and Madison in the dunk tank,

an egg toss,

& races. These were the prizes the boys won.

Somehow I managed to not get pictures after the park, but I stole some from Kelli. We headed to the lake to go boating and cool off.

Then we ate dinner with the Cox's and watched fireworks. Sunday, after church, we made a trip to the cabin. Karl stayed till Monday, but I braved it with the kids till Tuesday. I didn't think i would ever dare to stay there by myself, but I had to prove a point to Karl, so I did it.

summer events

This summer has been so busy. The boys have been in swimming and tennis lessons, baseball and t-ball, and Karl has been in a softball league. Somehow we have fit 2 trips to the cabin and 2 trips to the lake.

Kort still has 2 years of t-ball and he is already bored of it. But he still had lots of fun with dad as his coach.

He hit the ball over all the kids heads every time.

This was Kevin's first year at coach pitch. It was so much fun to watch. They started off a little slow, but ended with a lot of wins.

Kevin mostly played pitcher.

Kevin loved being on the same team as Alex.

Uncle Andy helped coach his team.
