I KNOW IT HAS BEEN WAY TOO LONG!

Where to start...... well I guess adding to my last post months ago, the HCG diet went great! I lost 25 lbs. in 30 days and feel great! I have maybe gained 5 back... but I do believe that is due to strength training and that it really is muscle. :) I guess whatever makes me happy right? Jason also did great on the diet.... he only did it for 23 days and lost pretty close to the same amount of weight that I did..... AHHHH MEN!
We are both still working our lives away at the same jobs.... although a few things have changed. Jason's company was sold to another tech company and so now instead of him driving from Spanish Fork to Springville everyday it is Spanish Fork to American Fork... big bummer I know and he for sure hates the longer drive. I went from working Monday thru Thursday to Monday thru Wednesday with Thursday off and then going back on Friday...... kind of odd but it makes the week a little bit easier to handle.... also I am now traveling the 80+ miles to Gunnison once a week for a clinic. Gotta love mileage reimbursement! :) Just kidding! Most of the time I just ride with the doc so he is the one putting miles on his truck.
Both of our girls are growing like weeds! Lauryn is officially a year and a half and Jocelyn will be 9 months on the 30th of May. Wow how time flies! It seems like just yesterday we were learning all the things brand new parents learn with each stage of a newborn baby's life... now we have two adorable girls.... one who thinks she is 2 going on 10 and the other who is so close to walking it scares me. I must admit that we have the two cutest little girls in the whole world! I know it is bad to admit, but at times I think wow, I really suck at being a parent, but somehow those two cute little girls make everything seem ok and right! I love them so much and can't imagine our lives without them.
On a sad note, Jason's grandpa passed away on Tuesday May 18th. It was very unexpected and I think it really took a double toll on everyone when it happened. Even though I have only been part of the family for a little over 4 years, he always treated me as if I had been his own grandchild forever. I will miss his soft hugs, the happy twinkle in his eye, and that "love you guys" whenever we departed. To Jason my amazing, wonderful, most perfect husband I love you so much and am so very sorry for you loss.... I knew you guys had become close. Just remember that he will always be with you in your heart! (Especially when buying a car) :)
I guess that is it for now..... I will try to post more often..... But of course it will take baby steps and events to happen!

HCG Diet Starts TODAY!

Jason and I finally started out HCG that we have been putting off for over a week now. We were planning on starting Jan. 1st and I really am not sure what happened, but we pushed it back. Then we were going to start on Tuesday the 5th, but on Monday Jason had a root canal and really didnt feel up to starting that day. So here it is Friday the 8th and we have to get two binge days out of our way before we start eating the 500 calories a day. I got up early and made him a huge breakfast, he gave me my first injection (because I am a chicken), and we are planning to meet for lunch today. Sunday will be our first day with eating only 500 calories and to be honest I can't wait! I feel like a giant whale right now.... guess that is what the holidays will do to you. My goal in the next 26 days is to lose between 15-20 lbs. With each session you can only lose up to 30, so that would be AWESOME but I am not getting my hopes up. I will keep everyone updated as to our progress. When Jason gets home tonight we are going to take pics of ourselves so ...... maybe we will post the before and afters at the end.

OUR TRIP TO SEE SANTA!!!

I think the picture explains it all! Jocelyn thought Santa was great, and of course as you can see Lauryn was terrified! She was so excited to go and see Santa until we got there. Then it was "Grandma JJ save me!" Oh well, guess there is always next year! :)

This year for Halloween my family came down and spent the afternoon with us.... we ordered Jack o lantern pizzas and took the girls trick or treating around our little townhouse neighborhood. Jason's sisters also joined in on the fun when we took the girls trick or treating around their neighborhood. By the end of the night, my girls had collected enough candy to last us under Valentine's Day! :)
