Die Cuttin' Diva's Challenge #44

Good Morning everyone! Welcome to our tags, tags, and more tags TWO WEEK challenge.
With Christmas just around the corner all of the Diva's agreed to switch from making cards to making tags. This week we are also sponsored by Whimsie Doodles. There are so many great digis to choose from on their site.
I used the Wild Card cartridge. I chose the liners function to create the tags.

I used glitter glue around the penguin to look like snow.

I found the grass die cut on the paper doll cartridge.

After using the glitter glue on the bow and candy I used Glossy Accents on the jar to make it look like glass.

All of the background paper and ribbon is from my stash.
I plan on making many more of these for Christmas.

Thanks for visiting! Please join us at DCD for this challenge. It will run for two weeks.

Trendy Twine Challenge #2

If you are looking for the Critter Sketch challenge click HERE

-Use a Pumpkin or Jack-o-lantern & some sort of twine on your card or project.-
Challenge will run from October 4th- October 27th.

I have wanted to crochet a pumpkin for a while now, but I could never find a pattern that I liked.
So I picked up my embroidery floss and started experimenting.
I think it turned out pretty well.
When I read the requirements for the Trendy Twine challenge I was excited to be able to use this little pumpkin. I decided to make Pumpkin Pie.
I used a crochet pattern from the internet for the leaves.

Thanks for stopping by my blog.

Another Baby on the way!

No, I am not expecting, but my husband's co-worker is!
This is the card and blanket I made for her.
Since the mom to be hasn't found out what she is having I decided to use both stamps.
I was going for a vintage look but I really don't have the right supplies for that theme.

I had started this blanket last Friday but realized on Sunday night that the pattern had a flaw.
So at 9pm Sunday night I started over and here is what I was able to produce.
(most of it was done while I was working). :)

The yarn is TLC ultra soft in neutral.
The shower is today. I hope she enjoys the blanket.

Blogoversary Blog Hop Today!!!

Today we celebrate the 1st blogoversary of my sister's blog. She has done so many wonderful cards, LO, and other projects this year. I can't thank her enough for introducing me to the blog world and showing me how to become a better paper crafter.

If you arrived here from Sarah - http://www.Pinkcricut.com/  then you are in the right place. If you just happened by my blog please go to http://www.onecreativemomma.blogspot.com/ and start the hop from the beginning.

The project I made for her blog hop is a paper bag album. I had never made one of these before and was excited to see what I could cre8. Here it is! The pictures do not do it justice.

Each bag holds two inserts and I have decorated them to match the pages they are sandwiched between.

My vision for this album is to put all of the birthday pictures that I can find of my twin and I and display them in this birthday album. I just need to track down more pictures.

I would love for you to leave me some comments on how I can improve on this project. This is the first time I have made a paper bag album and think I will make a few more. They are so easy and make great gifts.

Now for the blog candy!!!
I am putting together a grab bag of stickers, embellishments, rhinestones, and some other fun stuff. All you have to do is follow my blog and leave me a comment. Don't forget to include an e-mail address so I can get a hold of you when you win. Thanks for Hopping along.

Here is the line up:
