Mini Haul! + Essence Cosmetics

Hii friends,

Just the other day I was at Malviya Nagar Market in New Delhi, and I happened to be at a cosmetic and beauty store in the main market.. and I saw the essence cosmetics counter at the shop.
Now the S.A. there told me that they are the only store to have this brand in the whole market.
We all know that beauty bloggers/vloggers rave about this brand on and on so I was sooo excited to buy some products, but then sadly they didn't have a lot of products of this brands... all they had was a few nailpaints,lip glosses, a few shades of eyeshadows, and some base makeup.

So I was very excited to try out their concealer coz I had heard great reviews about it, so without a second thought I bought that and a lip gloss.
Concealer stay natural shade: 02 soft sand; Price: Rs. 249/-
Lip gloss XXXL shine shade: 25 Bright Side of Life; Price: Rs. 229/-
For now I only bought these 2 things from essence, but I am definitely going there again for some more great products. Really wanted to buy the eye shadow primer but it was out of stock.

Next I bought the Lotus Herbals 10 in 1 glow cream and the colorkick kajal,coz I have heard really great stuff about both of these products.

January Fab Bag 2016!

I know I am quite late in doing this post, thats coz I was on a vacation so I couldn't do this post at the time I received it...
Just posting what I got in my January fab bag.

I got the french red clay mask and whipped cream sample size products from Natural Bath and body!

Then I got the anti cerres lollipop concealer in the shade ginger. (this product was a choice that I mde out of various options that were given to me to choose from) - I chose it mainly because I wanted to try a concealer, also I thought that the colour would be a match to my skintone.

 I got the seasoul massage candle, yet to try this one out. and also the votre face serum.

All of these brands are new to me, except natural bath and body,I have ried their lip butter before... and it was really good.
Really excited to try all these products out. This month's bag was a total steal coz the votre faceserum itself costs Rs. 1675/- and I got 3 full size products and 2 good quantity sample size products. <3 *love*
I am also thinking of doing a comparative review of the Just herbs serum vs the votre face serum.

Very Me Cover Up Concealer Stick! Review & Swatches

Today I am here for a quick review about a product which is not only pocket friendly but also very effective in its job!

I am talking about the Very me Cover up Concealer by Oriflame! As I am a student and addicted to makeup I like exploring new products which are affordable too! I would prefer trying out affordable options that are available in the market rather than buying some High end brands.. So most of the products that you would find on my blog are very pocket friendly and just apt for college going girls which buy their makeup from their pocket money! :P Anyhoo coming back to the point of this post.. I came across this concealer while flipping through the monthly catalogs of ORIFLAME! and thought of giving this concealer a shot.

Claims: Get even, natural coverage with easy to use concealer stick. 

            Contains tea tree oil to calm blemishes and soothe your skin.

            

Price: Rs. 300-240/- Depends on the monthly catalog offers; I got it for Rs. 160/-

Quantity: 1gm.

Packaging: Comes in a retractable tube form in a black plastic body with a green lid!

Shades: Comes in 2 shades light and dark, the one that I picked up is Light.

My Experience: I was looking for a light concealer which could hide a few blemishes and my dark circles and could also be used on a daily basis, and guess what this concealer was answer to my problems.

This concealer can be used on a daily basis, and overs little flaws really well. I use my Garnier or Maybelline bb cream and use this concealer over it and my skin looks to natural and healthy. This does not make me look cakey or anything of that sorts. The staying power of this concealer is a bit of a problem stays for about 2-3 hours but I really don't stay out of my house for long so its fine! Also coz I have oily and sensitive skin, it did not break me out or oil up, so I was pretty happy with that.

Here are the swatches:

PROS:
- Affordable
- Handy, and easy to apply and blend
- Contains tea tree oil; helps calm blemishes
- Hides dark circles

CONS:
- only 2 shades available
- Availability: can only be bought through Oriflame representatives; also available at a few online portals.
- Staying power is less
- Quantity is too less only 1gm

All in all I would sum up by saying that if you a college going girl or someone who doesn't really need to cover up much flaws on the skin then its a good product for you. But if you are looking for a heavy duty concealer then you might wanna check something else.

AVON Lip and Cheek Stain in Pink Blush; its an amazing product very inexpensive and I will be doing a review on this very soon! Rs. 199/- but I got it for Rs. 99/- only!

Dew Kiss Lip Balm in Mango Mania and Juicy Papaya These are new launches from AVON, and have 2 benefits in one product i.e. Lip color + Moisturizing lip balm!
Rs. 199/- but currently they are in offer for Rs. 149/-

Oriflame Very Me Concealer in Light, this is a very sheer concealer stick that is easy to use! Will be doing a detailed review on it soon. Rs. 229/- but I got it for Rs. 199/-

Oriflame Anti-Perspirant  in Energising Mint & Raspberry, nothing too great in this.. I got it coz of its packaging and for my love for Raspberry, it has got a very light fragrance to it, but it looks cute sitting on my vanity table. Rs. 169/-
