After we bought our house I was on the hunt for a great door mat. I finally hunted down this adorable one from Target. It was old out for awhile and they recently brought it back, along with a bunch of other great styles. I thought I would do a round up since there were so many cute ones that also happen to be on sale this week! I picked up a few seasonal ones that I can't wait to use, like that adorable watermelon one!

I'M LOVING: TARGET PILLOWS
You guys, it has been way too long since I have done an I'm Loving post! And I couldn't help myself when I saw all the sales Target was doing in their home section. More specifically their pillows! I love me some Target pillows and it is hard for me not to buy all of them. I recently bought a ton for our bedroom and had to cut myself off otherwise our bed would have looked like Josie Geller's needlepoint collection from Never Been Kissed. Anywayssssss, I rounded up some of my favorite they have right now and they are ALL on sale! Try not to be all the things mmmmkkkay.

When my friends were having babies and I would need to get them a gift, I always went to the same store. Now I won't name names, but basically this place sells adorable baby stuff, but it is pretty limited and usually is on the higher end of price range. So of course when I was pregnant this is where I started going and was one of the places I registered because it was the only place I really knew of.
After my baby shower I received several gifts from Babies"R"Us that I really loved. It surprised me because, honestly, I had never even thought to go there before. *smacks forehead* I am not sure why I never did, but I guess it probably had to do with it never being on my radar before I was expecting. Well after I had Ella and I needed some extra things I had checked my usual places and no one had what I desperately needed RIGHT THEN in stock. Then I remembered, Babies"R"Us! I was floored with all that they carried. It was, by far, the most variety and largest selection I had seen. I was kicking myself for waiting so long to have gone. Oh and they totally saved my butt and had what I needed in stock! I even found a last minute (perfect) outfit for Ella that I was needing for family pictures there when I couldn't find something anywhere else.
Having had several great experiences with Babies"R"Us it is now my suggested store for all things baby to my family and friends! I recently helped my friend register there, and it was fun to walk around and pick items to add. I think the biggest perk to going to the store, is being able to talk to a staff where their entire focus is on baby. At other places I registered, they sold a ton of different things not focusing on baby, so when I would ask for something specific, or need an opinion, they weren't as equipped to help me. I have been impressed with the knowledge on different products and brands the Babies"R"Us staff had the times I have gone. I also can't say enough about the organization of their stores. They have everything very clearly organized in different areas and sections where you can see from where you are standing at all times where everything is. I can't tell you how many times in other places I have had to walk up and down aisles trying to locate something. Their registry even has an endless earnings option, where registrants earn up to 10% back on purchases made from their registries. No limits! So it is in your best interest to register for everything you could ever want and save some money. They really simplify things for a new mother and have put together different registry checklists depending on your situation, must haves, suggestions from experienced moms, adopting, you name it they have a list for it! They then have everything organized on a baby guide to make it even easier to shop. Right now I am particularly enjoying having the toys organized by age appropriateness so I know what the next best interactive toy I can get Ella should be. Their resources are really endless, I mean, they offer breast pump rentals too!

I'M LOVING: ASOS MATERNITY DRESSES
You may have seen me post about THIS dress a few times now. As evidenced here and here. I have already expressed my love for it, as well as my love for ASOS in general. ASOS has always been one of my favorite places to shop because they have such unique pieces and often more modest. ASOS also happens to have a killer Maternity section. I remember once falling in love with a dress on ASOS but it was a maternity dress... I seriously contemplated just getting it anyways! haha Since I am pregnant for the whole summer, dresses have been my saving grace! And ASOS has SO many cute maternity dresses, I seriously want ALL OF IT! If only money wasn't a thing we had to deal with in life right? I'M LOVING: Kate Spade Surprise Sale!
Oh man guys, I am so tempted to buy something right now! I am trying to be better about spending especially with the baby coming so it is taking everything in me not to get something right now. So to help me cure my need, okay, wants, I thought I would share with YOU some of my favorite picks from the Kate Spade Surprise. I LOVE when Kate Spade does their surprise sales because you can get such great stuff for a killer deal. I literally got as far as putting this beauty in my cart and almost paying for it before I said, NO, NO, NO. But look at that price? It is such a cute little hand bag. It is so similar to the red Kate Spade bag I have that I love with the tassel, the cow, hide and the striped lining. Oh man... someone get it, just someone out there must have this! haha I also got this bag during the last surprise sale and think it is such a classic staple. I use it all the time for Church or other functions that are nicer but not necessarily fancy. I am also loving this bag! I love the the cinch top, and how cute is that back pack? Okay, okay, I will stop.

I'M LOVING: BEANIE WEATHER
In America we call these hats beanies, but in Canada they call them toques. Growing up in America with a Canadian family, I use the words interchangeably. Beanies are one of my favorite winter accessories, providing warmth while also having the ability to be an adorable accessory. I feel like over the last few years beanies have been taken up a notch, including jeweled applications and even veils, I mean, how breath taking is this one?! The other day a co-worker came over to my desk to show me a gift set she had recently purchased from Sephora. We each took turns looking at all the different high end lip products she got in just this one set for less than $60. I'M LOVING: SUMMER TO FALL
I would never spend over two grand on a dress, but dang I love this one! A girl can dream right? That's why I included it in this week's I'm Loving post. I love how it looks like a piece of art with the print and flowy a-line. It is also incredibly versatile; it can be summery with a pair of sandals, or add a leather jacket and now it works for a fall night. I put together a transition from summer to fall with how I would wear this dress. I will definitely be on the hunt for it's doppelgänger! And can we talk about those shoes from Forever21? Hello! P.S. I have been DYING for that yellow Marc Jacobs bag, and it is on sale... *swoon*
I'M LOVING: JCREW FACTORY
I have always been a huge fan of J.Crew Factory! They have such classic pieces for a more affordable price point than J.Crew. They recently added a bunch of new arrivals and they have some really great pieces! Instead of putting together an entire outfit that goes together I figured today I would just share all the items I'm loving! From my picks it looks like I am ready for fall... I'M LOVING: POLKA DOTS
If you couldn't tell from my new blog design, I have a thing for polka dots. Without even realizing it I find it in clusters amongst my wardrobe. I am obviously drawn to them. I used this adorable dress from ASOS as inspiration for this week's I'm Loving post. I love a good Kelly green, and thought this bag just popped against the black and white look. Now if only I could afford that amazing leather jacket... *SWOON!*
I'M LOVING: BLACK, RED, & BLUE.
I don’t know what it is about black and red together that is
so striking, but when you add a pop of blue to the mix my heart just starts
fluttering. I love this combination! I know you can't really tell in this image, because I couldn't find a great shot of it, but the MAC Relentlessly Red is a dynamite red, and I can't wait to get my hands on it. The color in the image below just doesn't do it justice. It is the perfect retro matte red! You better believe I will be recreating this look :) Now I just wish those Ray Bans would find their way into my hands... obsessed.
I'M LOVING: I'M FANCY
I don't know what has come over me this week but my girly side is coming out. My style is usually eclectic and I like to mix and match. I am not normally drawn to things "overly girly" but these pants from Kate Spade inspired me to put together a really fun, girly glam look. Every once in a while it is fun to go all out!
Whenever I wear a high neck line top I like to have big statement earrings or a necklace, and pull my hair back. This creates a really gorgeous classy look that has a lot of elegance. It also makes the jewelry the focus, as well as your face. That Nars lipstick is on my next splurge list, the color pay off is incredible! The Betsey Johnson perfume is not only pretty, but has a great sultry scent. It is a scent I wouldn't have normally been drawn to, but Trevor bought it for me as part of my Christmas present when we first started dating and after wearing it a bunch I have grown to absolutely love it. Plus, it seems like guys always comment on it when I wear it, and seeing that is was picked by a guy... that must be saying something. So if your looking for a scent that the boys will like, its worth a try!
