Where has all the Honeydew Gone!

So for some odd reason this year has been extremely hard to find Honeydew in the stores and at the little fruit stands alongside the road even at the farmers market. So it must be a bad growing year for them. Which makes me sad. I really enjoy eating Honeydew and Limes together during the summer. I even enjoy them more then watermelon.

The other disappointing thing this growing season has been the lack of Rhubarb. I planted one last year and it never did really well. At least the Nursery gave me my money back when it didn't grow back this season. I haven't been able to find it in too many places either. Which is too bad because I had found this Blueberry Rhubarb Jam recipe that I wanted to try. I also love to make Strawberry
