Mayzie is 1!!!

I know I've got an amazing amount of catching up to do, but this couldn't just go by the wayside.

Mayzie is such a special, happy, sweet baby girl. We couldn't love her more! Can't believe she is already one year old!

Bryn's singing debut!

Per request of my beautiful sister Kristen, you all get to enjoy one of Bryn's favorite hobbies. She is always singing or asking us to sing to her. She is really amazing at retaining the words to songs. A few months ago she watched "The Little Mermaid" 3 or 4 times. Then the other day she asked me to sing a song from the Little Mermaid and I said, "which one" and she just started singing this song. Of course I had to pull out the video camera and make her sing it again. Don't mind that she is also in a lovely princess dress. This girl HAS to play dress up at least a couple of times a day. She has the best sense of humor and is so much fun to be around. Enjoy...

Family Pictures 2011

I decided it was time to have another family picture taken, seeing as the last one we had done was when Bryn was only 3 months old... I didn't realize what a challenge it would be to get a good picture. What can you expect with a 2 and a half year old and a baby? Oh well, the candid pictures are the best ones anyway, right?

My family is the most important thing to me! How did I get so lucky to have these amazing babies and such a wonderful husband. I feel so blessed.

Family trip to California!

I am so very behind on updating this blog, so I thought I would just throw up A TON of pictures of the trip to do a quick catch up.

Thanks to this cool kid, we got to take an awesome trip to California with my family. Kimball got home from serving a mission in Argentina and my parents were kind enough to get a beach house in Newport for a week so we could all spend time together. We had a BLAST. It is so great to have Kimball home! We are so proud of him.

Krissy and Brea looking so cute on the beach.

Getting ready to take the ferry over to Balboa Island.

Great picture of Uncle Tanner!

Taylor showing off his skim boarding skills.

My sisters husband Jordan is quite the sandcastle architech! We all pitched in and created this beauty... Here is beautiful Brea demonstrating how the tunnel works.

Papa Dean and LeeLee couldn't be any better!

My dad found Bryn this lovely seaweed skirt.

These two beauties look like they are straight off a magazine cover! They were so cute together.

Kimball was shocked at how much these two grew up and changed. It makes me realize how fast times goes by :(

I love this picture of Mayzie and my mom :)

Disneyland!

Disneyland was a dream come true! It was so fun to watch the little girls and their reactions to all of the rides and characters. I love that place.
Next time your in Disneyland make sure to get your face painted. They do a lovely job as Kimball and Tanner can attest to.

Pure joy on Bryn's face. She was so excited to meet all of the mickey mouse clubhouse characters.

Minnie better watch her back :) She was a little too into Dan. How can I blame her- he's quite the catch.

Pretty sure I won't be able to talk Bryn into going on the Pirates of the Caribbean ride again, or Mr. Toads Wild ride, or The Haunted Mansion, or Snow Whites ride... Am I the meanest mom or what? What was I thinking taking her on those rides? I don't remember them being so scary when I was little. Sorry Bryn... Here is a little peak of the terror I put her through.

My camera died half way through Disneyland which I was pretty bummed about. Luckily my sister and Mom still had theirs handy. I'm sure anyone who looks at this blog is kind of relieved that I don't have any more pictures :) Anyway, Disneyland was a complete success. Even with the swarms of people, I would go again in a heartbeat.

One of the sweetest pictures ever. This girl couldn't be more in love with her daddy.

We were so lucky to be able to spend some time with our friends the Weddles while we were in town. We wish Brooklyn lived closer so we could play more!!!

My mom is seriously one of the most talented people I know. She made these adorable dresses for the girls to wear.

Here are all of the grand kids. We love girls!!!

Hanging out on the pier. I didn't get any pictures of us hang glidding, but that was definitely my highlight of the trip. There were dolphins everywhere! It was SO amazing. Unforgettable.

Bryn Lee loves her Papa Dean. I get so much joy just looking at this picture.

The girls showing off their Mickey Mouse pj's.

Saying goodbye to the beach. We were so sad to leave California. Definitely one of my favorite vacations. Thanks to my parents for everything! Bryn has already asked if she can go to the Beach for her birthday. If only! She is a girl after my own heart.
