What Is This?

Two years ago I bought an amazing camera and I am ashamed to say that my favorite mode to shoot in is "P". It's what the Best Buy sales man suggested for a newbie like me. I know. Pitiful.

So, my goal with this blog is to take a picture each day and in different modes of my camera to learn all the amazing features it offers and to become a better photographer. Also, I think it is going to be pretty cool to chronicle our 2010 with a picture each day.

Ultimately, I want to take better pictures of my 3 favorite subjects...
