TULIP FESTIVAL at Thanksgiving Point

I love flowers. In Spring, I love to see tulips.
Tha Ashton Gardens at Thanksgiving Point (in Lehi, Utah) hold an annual Tulip Festival with 55 acres of gardens of beautifully colored flowers.
Tulips are planted in fun displays like around a carousel,
by fountains,
and in a rainbow of colorful displays.
There is also a gift shop and tulips available for sale.
This is an annual event you won't want to miss. Don't forget to visit later in the year to see the roses bloom after the tulips are gone.

UTAH IN SPRING

I love my state.
Utah's capitol building is fabulous any time of year.
Add cherry blossoms in Spring
and you have a fabulous sight.
Bring your camera because you will want to document the enchanting walk through the tunnel of trees.
You can also drive a few blocks to temple square and enjoy colorful tulips
and other brilliant flowers as you walk around the Salt Lake Temple.
Spring time in Utah has got the BLOOM BLOOM WOW!
PS My jewelry is from Alex and Ani #obsessed.

CECRET LAKE

I heard about a sweet hike to Cecret Lake in Alta, UT, from my friend Heidi and I had to go.
There are 120 varieties of wildflowers in this area that can be seen blooming for only about 2 months out of the year.
My goal: to see some flowers.
Mission: accomplished.
If you continue on the trail for a short 3/4 mile, you get to Cecret Lake.
It is small, but well worth the short walk.
While we were there, we saw a moose, swimming salamanders, and little furry animals like the guy pictured below.
It is a must hike in summer months if you are in Utah.
This is the moment on the car ride home when you realize you are singing along to a Taylor Swift song and aren't embarrassed by the fact. Ugh that last album of hers...

I WILL BUY YOU A GARDEN

I am in love with the new Pursuit of Persephone collection from Alex and Ani.
ALEX AND ANI
The bangles are made with pretty colors and shiny silver or gold finishes. Each charm is engraved with a powerful meaning (like all of their amazing products).
If I was a mother, I would LOVE an Alex and Ani e-gift card for my present this year! Too bad dogs can't get credit cards.
