Merry Christmas Everyone!!!

It is amazing how quickly time flies....it seemed like Christmas was weeks away and here it is on our doorstep...we just put out our Cookies for Santa....and shared an amazing Christmas Eve.....

Just watched our traditional Christmas Eve movie..."It's a Wonderful Life" ....a great reminder that we are all here for a reason....our life makes a difference and how important it is to be grateful.....I wish you all a most Blessed Christmas filled with Family, Friends and Love....thank you so much for being here!

Christmas Eve was amazing.....we always have our little family traditions.....we head to a park that is all lit up for the Holidays and we walk around and drink hot cocoa....then we feed the ducks and geese by the river and share some great laughs along the way....then we head home for a cozy night of appetizers and our favorite movies for the Holidays....every Christmas Eve we watch "It's a Wonderful Life" and I always cry at the end.....such a great message that we are all important in some way...love it....Then we let Cole open some gifts and play and finally he gets some cookies ready for Santa.......it is a wonderful time of year....and we are so blessed to have our families and friends....Merry Christmas Everyone.....

Even our dog Minnie feels special during the Holidays.....so cute!!!

Cole and I started a tradition his first Christmas....we bake together....now that he is older he is my sous chef and he loves to help make these yummy treats for our family and for Santa !!!

Here are some of our yummy creations....

Vanilla and spicy Christmas trees....and below...some chocolate thumbprint cookies with peppermint chocolate ganache and crushed candy canes....yummy!!!!

and you know how much Cole and I love snowmen...so this is our new snowman cookie design for 2010....

some Anise gifts....my favorite recipe I came up with............

and this special plate I made for Cole on his first Christmas....we use it each year for Santa's treats!!!!

and one more of our traditions is to head over to a park that is lit up!!! We have been going for years now...and it is always fun to sip hot drinks and walk around and see all the cool lights and decorations.....

 

and how can you get even more Canadian....with one of these cool Moose....all decked out for the holidays too!!!!

and Santa and his reindeer are all ready for the big night!!!!

Hi Everyone....holy moly....I can hardly believe that it is Christmas Eve....where has the time gone....I am taking in every second of this wonderful Holiday where we all come together as a family and just enjoy great company....great food and a laugh and a smile...and make many memories that will become new traditions for the future.....

I hope you all know how much your friendships mean to me....I feel so blessed to have met so many of you and love your visits and your kind gestures of wonderful friendship....I am so grateful to have met so many talented and wonderful people through blogging and I hope that we can share our lives more and more.....I thought you would all get a kick out of my cupcake tree...all decorated with yummy treats.....I also thought I would add a few more images to share with you.....My snowflake ornament I made last year....to remind us all about the true meaning of Christmas.....and my white roses....this year I am longing even more for a white Christmas and everything around the house is in white....and I just love it.....I am also packing up my home baked treats and delivering them to our family and friends....

I still believe!!!

I am dreaming of a white Christmas....and having everything in white this year makes everything so fresh....

my hard work baking looks pretty festive all together like that....

my homemade tags for the cookie boxes....hand painted pieces I cut using my cricut machine...I love it!
