And therefore for the 10 years of his political dominance he knows all he has to do is make grandiose pronouncements and the fawning Corporate Media will report the bullshit lies he says and not the truth behind it or the facts as they really are.

Everyone knows airstrikes do not work.  The reality is these unlawful bombings Trump ordered on Iran made some nice holes in the ground, they didn't destroy anything.  But, Traitor Trump blurted out his usual verbal diarrhea about how because of him everything was perfec, t and a complete success and Iran's three nuclear sites were "obliterated".  This was of course a total fabrication by a known liar. 

But, once the media (and in reality only the non-US media is going to actually disagree with Trump since the American Corporate Media adores their Beloved DonOld) got around to questioning what actual damage these illegal airstrikes accomplished, Trump knew all he has to do is double down and continue to claim everything was "completely destroyed", he is the best President of all time, this was the greatest military operation of all time, and this brought total ever-lasting peace to the region (even if dumb as shit Americans don't know Iran is not in the part of the so-called Middle East) and then watch as his Republican and Media sycophants declare him "President Bad Ass".

Then, in a coordinated talking points campaign,  Republicans flood their compliant and complicit media channels with Trump should win the Noble Peace Prize!  Listen to Rictus grin, breathy baby-voice Katie Britt, gush over her lord and master,

"President Trump is going to win the Nobel Peace Prize no doubt,"  Submissive Trad Wife Britt told chief Propagandist Sean Hannity.  "He did what everyone talked about but nobody thought possible."

What a fucking joke the United States has become. The Republican Party is nothing more than a collection of rapist, racists, thieves, and liars. Republicans learned long ago that by sticking to their coordinated talking points and repeating the same propaganda they can successfully get the American people to believe their lies.

Trump declared a Forever Eternal Ceasefire and Peace, and as CNN shows, the Corporate Media declares his fact-free statements as though they were eternal truths. And when reality smacks, American media and Republican lies, well Trump can merely swear he fucking solved it and those people ruined it but, he was right as always and accomplished things no one ever thought possible! Trump keeps Winning!!!

And don't worry when things go sideways (as they always do after Republicans fuck things up) Republicans and their Media mouthpieces will simply blame Barack & Biden. And if Iran decides to launch more than a few face-saving missiles at US bases, Traitor Bone Spurs and Faux News can simply declare no US troops were injured and any claiming they were are malingering losers with headaches, just as he did 5 years ago...

Iranian Sleeper Cells will be the pretext to Crack down on American Protests

     Now, that Trump has started has joined Israel's War on Iran, sensationalists are hyping the threat of "Iranian Sleeper Terrorist Cells" in the United States.

Do you recall during his first Reign of Terror when Trump warned Muslims had infiltrated the United States via the porous Mexican border?  It turned out to be a plot device in the movie Sicario 2.

Because of structural deficiencies in the United States, Trump isn't in any danger of Impeachment from the United States Government which is controlled entirely by Republicans.  Additionally, the Corporate Media, which is already on Trump's side, loves the thought of another war and gushes over Trump's momentous military might.  I'm guessing the Trump cabal sees zero downside to this course of action.  White America will always get behind bombings.  Faux News will never report on this illegal military action.  Conservatives will quickly fall in line and all repeat the same warmonger justifications.

And if things go sideways?  Well, as Steve at No More Mister Nice Blog points out Trump and Republicans will simply blame Barack & Biden.  Rightwing drones have been primed for years by Trump, Corporate Media, and rightwing agitprop to lay the blame for all problems at the feet of the Democrats.  And this past Sunday we already saw Tom Homan and Pete Hesgseth put the onus for these "sleeper cells" onto President Biden.

"I said the last four years my biggest concern was this open border was the biggest national security vulnerability this country's ever seen," Homan lied about. "So I pulled numbers this morning just from a CBP under Joe Biden, there was 1,272 nationals from Iran. And you compare that in the Trump administration, zero, right? Zero releases."

The fear of dastardly sneak attacks by the scary foreigner has been an American Trope ever since Europeans forcibly colonized these lands.  Of course, during the Cold War (the original World War 3), Republicans fear-mongered about Soviet Agents infiltrating and attacking the US from within while the Communist horde launched their attacks from Mother Russia.  This is the basic plot for Little Nikita (1992) and the F/X series The Ameri☭ans (2013-2018).

However, what white supremacists Charlie Kirk and Stephen Miller want is for armed white mobs to harass women in headscarfs and to break windows with Farsi script on them.  I'm sure if he wasn't dead, Trump would have deported The Iron Sheik already.

Because Republicans are going to use  the phony fear of homeland Iranian terrorist attacks in the US as a pretext to crack down violently on anti-War and anti-Trump protests.  Plus, the added bonus will be to send those "terrorists" to El Salvador and the other Republican concentration camps.  Because once those camps are up and running there will always be another group whom Republicans will target to send there.

        Everyone posting screen captures of Traitor Trump's old tweets claiming President Obama would start a war with Iran to help his 2012 election prospects aren't wrong that hypocrisy and EAIAC are keys to Republican policy goals but, it misses the fundamental base of Republican ideology.  Republicans believe the US Government only has two legitimate roles 1) the creation of a massive military complex to threaten foreign nations and open-up overseas markets for US exploitation and 2) a large law enforcement apparatus to quell domestic dissent at home.

ICE, and it's masked agents, is nothing more than the KKK with explicit state-sponsorship.  Look, at Confederate Princess Marsha Blackburn proposed to defend her KKK brethren

Don't expect Republicans to disagree or dissent to Trump's illegal warmongering.  They will fall in line, as they always do.  And don't expect the Corporate Media to create any resistance.  CNN, Jake Fucking Tapper, and the paid pundits were lauding this bombing as an unbelievable show of strength and military might immediately.  The Corporate Media adores their Beloved Leader DonOld and yearns to have another War to cover.  Juxtapose the Media's vicious coverage of President Biden's ending of the 20 year Afghanistan debacle with the fawning adoration they throw at Traitor Trump's feet for starting a War with Iran.

And the so-called "anti-interventionist" Left & Right?  Well, you must be joking!  Those people screamed their Genocide Joe and Kamala is a Cop propaganda to win the Presidency for Trump.  What Trump does is not their concern and the more death, damage, and destruction he cause the better it is for them; or so they believe because Republicans and the American Left's enemies are the Democratic Party and the American People.

I am still livid over the shameful disrespect towards Ira Hayes, Jackie Robinson, and so many other Veterans by the racist cowards, traitors, and Incels who never served a fucking day but, lets not forget how the current Secretary of Defense showed himself to be an incompetent and stupid man.

Pete Hegseth is an embarrassment and a stupid fuck who doesn't know how to lead.  Many people don't know how to lead and to compensate they focus on the wrong fucking things.  Hegseth's ideas of leadership are like a grade school boys imagination,

"It starts with the basic stuff, right?" Hegseth told the crowd. "It's grooming standards and uniform standards and training standards, fitness standards, all of that matters."

Focusing on how a uniform fits and grooming is a facile take and literally the most superficial view of leading, which belongs in basic training and the parade deck but, not in a combat ready military.  

As I deployed into combat zones it became readily apparent what senior NCOs had spent their careers worrying about shiny black books and Stay-Flo starched uniforms.

There were a whole cadre of Marines who in the post Vietnam era didn't deploy much and were laser-focused on chewing out any Marine who dared use the cargo pockets on his woodland cammies instead of having them flat up against the pants leg.

These Marines were focused on performance on field day instead of performance in the field.

It was evident Hegseth wasn't fit to be SecDef by the fact everyone in his command recommended he be kept as far away from authority and leadership as possible.  So to Hegseth, leadership amounts to what you look like.  

Hegseth also mentioned Broken Windows a wholly discredited policing strategy which of course appeals to a shitbag like him as it's annoyance and intimidation of peoples and fits with his worldview of some people not really having rights and protections and being subject to the whim of the Police State.

"It's almost like the broken windows theory of policing: when you ignore the small stuff from criminals, and I'm not I'm not saying if you violate grooming standards, you're a criminal, the analogy is incomplete, but if you violate the small stuff and you allow it to happen, the big stuff, it creates a culture where big stuff you're not held accountable for. I think the same thing exists inside our services," Hegseth insisted.

Except that is not how good police work is done.  It is how an occupying army views a subjugated peoples.  It is how a bully thinks and how a campaign of low-level harassment works to control victims.  It's a shit theory advanced by people who do not understand day-to-day policing, do not understand crime, and do not understand how best to deter or investigate crime and is a way of thinking a person who spent the last decade sitting on a couch spewing propaganda to Faux News watchers thinks.

Hopefully, we won't have any catastrophes under Hegseth's tenure but just these series of insults, blunders, and intolerances.  Sadly, I'm certain Hegesth (And Trump, Vance, and Musk) are going to get itchy to prove how big and strong they are and we'll find ourselves in a shooting war with NATO in Greenland, Panama, and Ontario.

Tesla had to take the step this month of recalling every single Cybertruck because the vehicles are falling apart.  Teslas are the shoddiest most dangerous vehicles on the roadways today.  In any functioning State, with a healthy robust regulatory system, Cybertrucks and Teslas would be banned from the roadway.  Instead in Fascist America, the erstwhile President and multiple Senators do free car advertisements and the financial markets widely over-value the company.  Well, in response to Musk's vandalization of the United States Government, people across the globe have at a grassroots level have created the Tesla Takedown, boycotting, and driving down the value of Tesla stock, as well as more direct destructive action against Tesla dealerships (which is very bad wink-wink).

This has made Elon Musk very mad.  And because he's a disregulated, petulant, ketamine-addict Musk is going to destroy Social Security.  Musk started his temper tantrum with massive lies about what DOGE was uncovering in the Social Security Administration (SSA) unfortunately for Musk his lies were easily disproved but after he got caught in a massive lie about 300 year old dead people being found on the SSI roles,  so Musk, the drug-addicted Nazi, decided to fire a bunch of SSA workers and stopped actual Americans from receiving their benefits.

Also having been caught in his stupid lies, Musk increased the scope of his lying while he furiously unleashed his Vandals on multiple agencies and buildings in orgies of destructive petulance.  Congressional Republicans for their part continue to bow, scrape, and defer to DOGE and Musk telling their angry constituents,

But, DOGE wasn't content and now they've simply removed information about Ira Hayes, a Hero pictured in the most iconic picture from World War 2.  That its' removal nearly coincides with the 80th anniversary of the photo the War Department's capitalization via Nationwide publicity tours to Win the War is just the cherry on-top the shit DOGE cake.

White people hate America.  This level of repeated insults, continued disrespect, and absolute racist treatment of a man who survived one of the worst battles in the Pacific only to fall victim to PTSD and die a sad lonely death just 10 years later is.  I can not adequately convey how livid that 70 years after his death a cadre of cowards, bigots, Incels, grotesqueries, and traitors could saunter into power and feel empowered to simply erase him from official records.

DEI has been one of the most successful branding campaigns conceived and implemented by Republicans.  Of course, Christopher Rufo's bullshit everything is DEI would not have worked without the complicit cooperation of the Corporate Media.

Don't forget Trump signed an Executive Order back in January allowing him to invoke Insurrection Act.  In about 30 days time, Trump, Pam Bondi, Tom Holman, Pete Hegseth are going to declare the the Tesla Riots a casus belli and invoke the Insurrection Act.  Elon Musk has been yearning to violently unleash the United States Government onto Americans.  Be prepared because ICE is already acting as an unaccountable Secret Police and Trump has an agreement with El Salvador to use their sprawling 100,000 plus prison as an American Gulag.  Violence and bloodshed are probably coming.

Why does Trump continue to threaten Canada (and Panama and Greenland)?

There are two main reasons;  Trump is a shit-talking bully who gets off on being an asshole insulting people while he's got a literal army standing behind him.  Also, once Trump undertakes a course of action he can never admit he was wrong even in the slightest degree.  Trump was Right is one of the catechisms of MAGA and so Trump has to be "right" about Canada becoming our cherished 51st State and about getting Greenland "one way or another".

So, at no point when asked by the Media can Trump claim he was not absolute sincere and correct about annexing Canada.  Today, DonOld quite matter-of-factly continued to declare Canada isn't a country as it was formed by a drawn line and only works as a State.  And today's reporting is Trump has military plans for taking the Panama Canal, after he told the Nation, "my administration will be reclaiming the Panama Canal."  Of course, the Corporate Media would never be so gauche as to properly call this an act of war but continue use the "reclaiming" euphemism.

I've asked some standard Reactionaries if there is any problem at all to them with a President seeming to threaten War with Canada or Denmark or Panama.  They simply laugh it off and resort to the "Can't take him literally or seriously" and man it sure is funny how he negged and trolled Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.

What Trump learned in his first term was the constraints on him were self-imposed.  I've written before Trump understands "The Law", as a perfect Platonic Ideal existing in the firmament, does not exist.  His complaints about Weaponized Department of Justice were a fulfillment of the Every Accusation Is A Confession so often found amongst Republican politicians.  Trump knows "The Law" is whatever he says it is because America is not a Nation of Laws but of Men and with the power of his cult, his fawning Corporate Media fans, his cowed Republican lawmakers, and his co-conspirators in the Supremacist Court he can do whatever he wants whenever he wants to whomever he wants.

He also knows that politics matches TV with episodic narratives being more important than an over-arching storyline or plot arc.  So if it's Tariffs today or No Tariffs today his cult will declare it the best move ever by any American President!  If it's threatening Canada, or Greenland, or Panama;  well, that's shrewd business acumen and leader of the free world strength and not the syphilitic whims of a madman.  If it's strong-arming Zelenskyy to turning over Ukraine's "Raw Earth" and helping Putin reverse his defeat in Ukraine that's a Real Peacemaker!  Or causing a recession and bankrupting Americans retirement savings while stealing Social Security Trump really means Trump is looking out for the Working Class!

In the worst case scenario, Musk in a Ketamine induced haze orders US military assets to strike targets in Canada for failing to protect his Tesla dealerships or claims a Canadian government hacker conducted a DDOS attack on Twitter (X) and declares a Casus Beli.  This preposterous sequence of events would have been declined as too fantastical and silly by even Tom Clancy's editors.  Yet, here we are...

And here's the worst and most frightening aspect.  No one is coming to save us.  Canada and Denmark are not going to invoke Article 5 of the NATO compact (based on Article 51 of the United Nations Charter) in the face of continued bellicose rhetoric and even if Trump were to get Greenland or Panama by direct military action.  The Democratic Party leadership does not seem up to the task.  The Corporate Media, Banking institutions, CEOs have thrown in with Trump (as he knew they would) and even with him cratering the economy aren't really doing anything.  The Republican Party is fully MAGA now, and any holdouts from previous iterations are content to go along.

So, either the Fascist Fever griping Us breaks or the Nation does...

Government, to Republicans, should be a blunt instrument used to quell domestic dissent at home and to open up foreign markets to exploitation.  But, understand what Republicans are doing this time around isn't just the just promising White People that they will remove all the unqualified blacks and women from positions in the government but, setting them up to believe that Government can never be equitable or a force for good and must be eliminated.  Because once Republicans convince their voters there is no American Dream; that a better life, or retirement, or security in their old age is no longer possible well then those same people will fight literally to make sure it's not possible. 

I guess Trump and MAGA are lucky the first steps over the edge into the economic abyss have happened so quickly as KKKaroline Leavitt and Peter Navaro were quick to blame President Biden.  But, even Traitor Trump himself is saying out loud that a Recession is coming and American workers are going to be reduced to penury and wage slavery.

Trump has believed for a long time that the Dollar being the world's reserve currency is a "bad deal" for the United States.  Of course, it's because he's stupid and has a Mafia leaders understanding of money.  What he's really interested in is what he can get out of it.  Hence, the $TRUMP meme coin.  Trump's a pump and dumper who base desire for money means he'll make this "Strategic Reserve". 

Of course, Crypto is a worthless commodity and a terrible financial instrument except for stealing large sums of real money.  Which is the entire point for those who invented it.  Crypto's, most common use, is to bilk old people out of their life's savings.

All those crypto bros who declared BitCoin and crypto was a hedge against inflation and a way to undermine the Fiat Currency will never admit that what they've always wanted was to replace their dollar with their made up digital "currency" and thus make themselves instant Billionaires with no work.

There is so much horrible shit happening it's easy to miss the little insults.  With vast firings of federal employees, by the head of DOGE, Tony Ruiz a terminated employee of the Veterans Affairs, who was fired on February 3rd just days before his year-long probationary period was about to end, reached out to Wisconsin Drunk Van Orden a member of the Veterans Congressional Commitee asking about the firings.

Well in response, Drunken Derrick Van Orden disgraced the Naval Service yet again.  Van Orden is a mean drunk.  He's always intoxicated and always lashing out at people. 

Drunk Van Orden responded in the petulant despicable way all Republicans act now, insulting, condescending, and threatening.  Van Orden couldn't even be bothered to note Tony Ruiz had already been fired by a DOGE Incel when he threatened to report Ruiz to DOGE for daring to contact him at 1:46pm and "posting trash" about Traitor DonOld Trump.

Like all Republicans, Van Orden hates America.  Like, all Republicans he is given undo credit for claiming to "Support the Troops" when his every action is to shit and piss on Veterans.  Like all Republicans, Van Orden's goal in government is to harm and fuck over as many people as possible in service to bigotry and the wealthy. 

But, I have no faith, exactly ZERO, in the supposed backlash in these angry town halls.  White people have shown a dogged determination to eat as many shit sandwiches the Republican Party can serve up to them, as long as they get the Trump speeches extolling and promising bigotry and harm will be done to the Other.  So, despite being a mean and disrespectful drunk Van Orden seems in little danger of losing his Congressional seat as he shits all over Americans and helps to enact the Republican agenda of hatred, oppression, and subjugation of America to the Rich.

It doesn't take a particularly astute analyst or access to TS/SCI intel to see Trump is aligned/allied/enthralled with Vladimir Putin.  He asked for Putin's direct help on television during his 2016 campaign.  Having gotten tangible and direct aid from the leader of hostile foreign power, Trump has spent the last 9 years denying it.  During his February petulant tantrum against Volodmyr Zelenskyy, Trump angrily defended War Criminal Putin to the assembled rightwing and foreign media.  His ardor having been raised by Zelenskyy pulling his punk card, Trump screamed about the Russia Hoax, "Russia! Russia! Russia!"

The "Hoax" of course being that what happened didn't actually happen.

Trump and Vance wanted to ritually humiliate Zelenskyy, while they took credit for the military and monetary aid provided by President Joe Biden.  And having Zelenskyy grovel whilst signing over a half-Trillion in minerals rights (RAW EARTH in a senile Trump malaprop), they would then declare Trump would negotiate a peace treaty in which Zelenskyy gave up everything to Putin while Russia was allowed to consolidate their gains and rearm for the next attack on Ukraine.

Leaders in numerous European countries having seen this childish tirade and then receiving the follow-up declaration by Drunken Rapist Pete Hegseth to remove US counter cyber warfare protections against Russia demonstrated their urgent need to come together to form an EU bulwark against the merging American-Russian Alliance.

Understand rightwingers in the United States have been so heavily and so thoroughly propagandized that they believe whatever lies Republicans tell them today even and especially if those lies directly contradict the lies the Republicans told the day before.  There really is no coming back from this.  It was obvious during the 2024 election coverage how impervious Republican voters are too the truth and how they have been so expertly controlled they now deliberately seek out propaganda to confirm the Agitprop which has been steadily fed to them over 50 years.

To call back to my own blog over 10 years ago, there is a concerted effort by the richest assholes in history to turn the United States into a clone of the Holy Roman Empire.  Billionaires, such as Harlan Crow, the DeVos Family, Linda and Vince McMahon, Elon Musk,  Paul E. Singer, Stephen A. Schwarzman, the Koch Brothers, want to rule the country as the Capitalist Nobility they imagine themselves to be, while using their vast apparatus of propaganda and control to select a figurehead President and pliant Congressmen.

  It's a stunning conspiracy in which they've managed to gain control of every Republican and Supreme Court justices.  Look at how Republicans at their angry town halls simply assert Elon Musk and DOGE have uncovered Fraud, Waste, and Abuse.  Sorry we need to steal your Social Security, eliminate your Medicaid, and return the rule of this country to those who own it.

Well, it's fascinating, if horrible to witness, the end of a strategic era.  NATO is probably dead as an American led coalition.  Instead we see the flowering of the American-Russian Alliance built upon the hand-in-glove relationship of Vlad Putin and Donald Trump. 

I'm certain DonOld Traitor Trump sees himself as an equal and peer with Vladimir Putin and imagines their Alliance will dominate Europe and form a bulwark against China.

I'm fairly certain Trump wants to get rid of NATO for the same base reason he got rid of NAFTA and declared the creation of "Space Force", to create something which will forever be tied to his name.  Trump's new global alliance with Russia, let's call it the Krasnov Pact, is a legacy no future American President or Congress or anything associated with this failing Nation could ever repudiate.  

Trump's foreign policy considerations are based upon Great Power games in which the US uses it's status and military might to wrest concessions from Minor Powers and intimidates erstwhile allies into acquiescence.  As such he can't contemplate "Soft Power" as for instance in the form of USAID, but only the threat of military violence.  Trump is as subtle as a cudgel.  His threats to Denmark and Canada are not only ludicrous but also criminal.  But, having admired Putin for years its' what he thinks a Great Power does. 

So, I'm not surprised after calling Volodmyr Zelenskyy a Dictator and claiming Ukraine started the War with Russia, Trump and Vance attacked President Zelenskyy today.  Trump and Vance claimed this meeting would be to secure mineral rights for the US in Ukraine while bolstering American support to the Nation, but it was clearly a staged hit-job to make Zelenskyy look weak and supplicant to Trump.

It's clear Vance wanted to have an Epic Takedown, viral Tik Tok video of him absolutely OWNING Zelenskyy to burnish his fascist cred on the rightwing internet.  Vance came off looking like a fool as he stepped in to chide Zelenskyy with no saying Thank You and being disrespectful in front of the American media.  But, when Vance tried to mention "diplomacy" Zelenskyy made J.D. look like a poseur when he pointed out J.D. doesn't know anything about Ukraine and Vance sputtered he'd watched some videos.

The only people who thought Trump and Vance came off well in this dishonorable exchange are those who declared loudly that Biden was lying about Russia invading Ukraine, and then when Vlad did invade those same people declared Kyiv would fall in in "3 days".  Trump simply spouted Putin Talking Points and looked like a whinny little shit demanding a Thank you and telling him Ukraine is going to lose. 

The fact that this very same day Trump and Vance attacked Zelenskyy and Ukraine, that he ordered Drunken Rapist Pete Hegseth to stop US counter measures against Russia cyber attacks.

Whatever Trump's gravitation towards Russia and Vladimir Putin, Europe clearly sees the United States is no longer an ally let alone the leader in countering Russian aggression.  Fortunately, Europe sent out immediate messages of support apparently backed by legislative measures to continue supplying materials and support to Ukraine even while Trump plans to cut off Ukraine.  If the UK, France, and Germany get together to lead Europe away from the US sphere of world order it will be a devastating blow to next 100 years of American interests.  

The whole problem with the Lord Palmerston dictum there are no eternal allies only eternal intrests is that other Nations exist too.  Of course, Trump will be long gone when a diminished US faces blowback from the World but, he might still be in office when we witness the end of the American Century and the Rise of Chinese Hegemony.  All Xi has to do is sit back and watch Trump and Musk blow up the United States, destroy our foreign alliances and move into the regions we've abandoned.

I watched the whole Oval Office debacle via Vaush's synchronous commentary.  It's shameful.  It's worse than you've heard.  We start with brain damaged Trump's malaprop of "Raw Earth" and he answers every question with his litany of grievances.  Followed by Biden is too blame for everything.  Then we see the stark contrast with the American rightwing media asking him, why are you so moral?  What a great peacekeeper you are sir!  While the foreign media correctly asked him how he intends to make sure Putin keeps any deal and Trump tells them its' a dumb question because he's so great!  Better than George Washington and better than Abe Lincoln!  Zelenskyy then pulled both Trump's and Vance's punk card and debunked their bullshit and the immediate angry childish tantrums thrown in front of the assembled media was beyond embarrassing.  Trump and Vance are triggered easily and immediately.  

When you combine this duo in the White House with Elon Musk's evisceration of the Federal Government it's hard to see how the US will come back after 4 years of Oligarchical treason agains the Constitution, especially with the Supremacist Court certain to stop any attempts at fixing this mess.
