For Patience

With special permission from Laurie Erickson. Photo by Laurie Erickson, copywrited image.
I beaded this likeness of Giacomino and Maria.
There are 9900 beads in this tapestry.
It measures 5 1/16 inches wide by 6 3/4 inches long.
It is hand made using delica beads, fireline thread and the peyote stitch.

Patience, I hope you like it.

Meet Daisy Mae

Here she is.
Daisy Mae is my donation piece to Whippet Rescue and Place(WRAP) Raffle for the Whippet National 2009.
Here's the link to get your raffle ticket:
I cannot be there in person this year, nope, not going to Atlanta.
This is one of my favorite poses to make. Whippet in play bow.
She is 5 3/4 inches long and 3 inches high. Needle felted wool. She has black glass eyes and is lightly airbrushed. She also has a hand beaded collar and stands on her own needle felted mat.
Thanks so much for looking.
As soon as the pages are up I will post the URL so you can take part in the raffle.
