A Chocolate Lab

WOW! I never realized how hard it would
be to needle felt this dog. Nothing at all like
needle felting a Whippet.
My first needle felted Chocolate Lab. I'm
pretty happy with how he came out.
Must try another one soon!
Thanks for looking!

Don't ya just love...

Wonkey ear'd whippets.
Meet Maribella.
One of my favorite things about whippets is when their ears are all askew.
She is needle felted in a very doggy pose.
Maribella measures a mere 5.5 inches long.
She wears a very girly girl beaded(by me of course) collar.

She is completedly needle felted from 100% wool and has onyx bead eyes.

Her coloring is red fawn highlights using Copic markers.

Maribelle is available for purchase in my etsy shop

Thank you so much for looking.

Heads

Well it's about time I did a little needle felting.
Here are a couple of heads/pins I made.
They are for sale in my Etsy shop.

The heads are completely needle felted from 100% wool.
They also have a bar pin back attached so you can wear them on your favorite coat or sweater.
They each measure about 2 3/4 inches long and 1 1/4 inches high.

A few quilts

Ok, so I haven't been doing much needle felting. But, I am working on my first needle felted Basenji, so far I have the body and front legs started.
Here are a few quilts I made.
The top quilt has Basenji appliques and the bottom quilt has Whippet appliques. All quilting is done with 100% cotton fabric.

Black Horse

Here is a commissioned horse I finally finished.
Needle felted from Norwegian and Dorset wools.
No patterns are ever used to create my one of a kind needle felted sculptures.

He measures 6.75 inches tall , 8.75 inches long and not quite 2" wide.

Well it's about time I got someting finished. Here is a sweet whippet boy in play bow. Yes, this is one of my favorite poses to make. I also felted him a mat and beaded him a collar. He's off to his new home in Illinois later this week.

Another day

So here I sit in front of the computer pondering what to say. So I'm just gonna edit some features and ad a couple of pics. Here is a whippet I finished not to long ago and donated the proceeds to a fellow whippet lover who's dog died.
Here's Mink:
This sweet girl is needle felted has armature in her legs and a beaded collar.
