Weekend Play Time

Happy Weekend dear friends !!! It was a great weekend for me I am happy to say. I was off a couple days on vacation this week and boy was it a busy time that it has flown bye so fast.

I spent the first day doing all the house chores and Friday my youngest granddaughter and I had a girls day out !! We went out to eat and shopped till we dropped and then to the movies. Now that wore me out worse than working lol  Yesterday morning was spent doing the outside work, and I even scrubbed the deck lol But last night I had a long sit and done some playing and finished them up today.  It felt so good just to sit and play and do something just for fun.

As you all know I had to step down from Susana’s Custom Art and Cards as my work load at work is just way to much anymore. It was a very hard decision but something I had to do for I couldn’t give 100% to her and Susana is just the greatest person I have ever met.  She is so wonderful to work with and we have grown into very best friends that I will always cherish. Your the best girl !!!

My first card is a Sylvia Zet image for Susana’s store and she is just the sweetest !!!I so love coloring these images. Papers are from Susana’s called Carta Bella and this pad is just gorgeous !!! Susana carry's the most variety of paper pads I have ever seen in one store. Check them out here.

Now look at those corner dies !!!!!!!!! OMG !!! Susana has got her own line of dies, Dies by Susana. You won’t believe all the detail in these dies folks.  I saw them in the store and loved them but when I got them in person OMG they are to die for !!! If you all do not have any of these yet then you are missing out !! Trust me !!

For my image Friendship Ties ! This beauty has been colored with my copic’s and I have used the spica glitter pens on the image also. I have to say I had so much fun coloring her in and having such a great play time.

Yes 2 cards in one weekend !!!

I have used this adorable Party Hardy image from Krista Smith. She has been colored with my copic’s and spica glitter pens. I added a Petaloo flower and I have used a MS border.

I used a different corner die from Dies by Susana and I so love this one too. Love it. And look at those papers !!! I just about cried when I cut into them, A very dear sweet friend from the UK sent these to me (thanks so much sweetie) These are from the Life in the Country from Maja Designs. Oh I so feel in love with this pad.

There is a new challenge going on at the Saturated Canary Challenge Blog of Red , White and Blue so I am going to enter this card there.

Play Ball !!!!

Good day dear blogging friends !!!

Well it is the end of the weekend !! I was so lucky to of been put on a different line Friday instead of mine so I didn’t have to work the weekend !! YIPPEE !!

I got some play time in late last night and this morning I got to finish it all. I have so many projects I need to start. When my oldest granddaughter had her birthday party all her little friends loved all her boxes and frames I made her so they told her they wanted some for there birthdays lol Boy I got myself a list already lol Bless their hearts lol

So I started off with this wooden coat hanger. Thought it would make just a cute decoration for their room. I used this gorgeous image from Krista Smith called Gothica. Isn’t she so cute ??? I colored her with my copic’s and spica glitter pens.  I used the Silks from Susana’s Custom Art and Cards to paint the wooden hanger and then added Making Memories paper to the front. I used some glamour dust glitter paint on the flowers. So LOVE this stuff !!! The  Friends was a die cut from Sizzix

I saw where the challenge at Saturated Canary Challenge Blog was anything goes so I am going to enter this there.

Yesterday was my youngest granddaughters birthday so before the party she had a ball game. So grandma went and sat in the steaming hot sun to watch her play. She made a home run too. It was so cute to watch them all play. So here is my little diva granddaughter and when I use that word diva I really mean it lol

And here is a pic of my only 2 granddaughters taken at her party. Ashley on the left and Kirstie on the right. Ashley turned 6 yesterday and Kirstie was 9 in May. Boy they so grow up so fast.

I got some news a couple weeks ago that I am going to be a great grandma !!!! Man am I ever getting old !!!! We don’t know yet what it is still to early but am excited.

 

Well I hope you all have had a wonderful weekend. I know mine has sure been busy. Now I need to go start on all the house work and laundry lol Just never stops does it.

Oh it has been so long !!!

Hello dear friends !!! Man it seems like ages since I have been on !!! My poor ol blog has been neglected so bad !

I am still working lots of hours but I finally got a weekend off and was so ready for it. My plan is to get all my work done today so I can just sit and enjoy the day Sunday.

Besides working there has been so much going on in my life with my family it is unreal !!

Below is a picture of my dad’s brothers and sisters this was taken in 2005. My dad passed away in 1988 so he is the only one missing here but Uncle Boob has been ill and in a nursing home since Feb. He is doing therapy and we are hoping to get him home soon he is walking with a walker now so he is getting better but his wife Aunt Rosie passed away April 18th very unexpectedly. She was a rock so this was such a shock to us all !!!! She was a sweetheart that was for sure. So we had her funeral and this  Monday Uncle Boob’s TWIN sister Aunt Marge passed away.  So it has been a trying time here. Aunt Marge and Uncle Boob was 83 the 27th of April.

The evening of the day we buried Aunt Rosie my grandson was going home that night and he took the country roads home which was shorter. And this stupid deer came out of the  woods and ran right into the drivers side of Dyllon’s door. The deer’s head busted his drivers side window out and got him in the face and all the glass cut his face up and got in his eye. He is doing okay but the jeep got a number done to it. The body of the deer went back and got both doors and the rear quarter panel. But he is okay now and that is great. He just misses his vehicle lol

Then to top it off we found out my oldest daughter had cervical cancer. She has had her surgery and is doing good. They are 97% they got it all but she will go every 3 months to have a check up to make sure it hasn’t came back.
So needless to say my life has been pretty crazy !!!

I have not been in my craft room for over a month and I had so many projects half done that had been there for months. So last night I decided to add the flowers to them and let them be lol It was great to get to play but the ol mojo just isn’t there anymore. I still have lots of projects laying there to be finished so maybe one day I can get them done. Some are for my granddaughters birthday which is in June and another one the 28th of May !!! Don’t know if they will get done or not lol

But here is a card I had done using a Krista Smith image. It has been so long ago I could not tell you what paper pad this is from but I do know it came from Susana’s Custom Art and Cards . I buy all my paper from her and I used some glamour dust glitter paint on the flowers. I saw where Krista has a challenge for may flowers so after many many months I am going to enter this there at Saturated Canary Challenge Blog.

Next I added some flowers to this project to finish it up. A picture frame with Tilda. I got some gorgeous bling from a dear friend for my birthday and I used it on the frame. The papers are some old MME papers again Glamour dust glitter paint was used on the flowers.

So sorry I don’t remember much about these 2 projects but it has been so long since I had started them.

Well I have so much housework to get caught up on and outside work. I am going to get it all done today so I can take tomorrow to do nothing.

I do hope everyone is doing well and hopefully one day I can get back into the groove of crafting again. But for now just some old projects that had been laying around unfinished lol

Hello dear sweet blogging friends !!! I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend !!! Same ol for me but did manage to get a card made yesterday. I tell you working all these hours sure has put a damper on my crafting fun. It is like I am only able to get on the net once a week and that is so not me lol But we have to work to pay the bills and pay for our habits don’t we??

Well anyway the card I made is this adorable Glinda from Krista Smith for my granddaughters birthday.  I so love coloring her images. I have colored her with my copic’s and spica glitter pens. I also used diamond glaze on her eyes and lots of glamour dust.

This gorgeous paper I got from Susana’s Custom Art and Cards and I so love this pad. It is Bo Bunny’s Serenity Collection. I didn’t add any layers for I didn’t want to cover this sheet up at all. I painted the paper behind the image with red glamour dust glitter paint.

The corner dies are from Whimsy Stamps and the ticket die is from My Favorite Things. I used a Magnolia leaf and border die and the branch punch is from MS. The flowers were coated with crystal glamour dust glitter paint.

I have not entered a challenge in ages with my work hours but after coloring this image I saw where Saturated Canary Challenge  is to use Twine and so I am going to enter this card there.

I had colored this image a while back and so I just stuck it in a frame today.  Actually I made a couple of them so will give them to the granddaughters.

Well that is it for me for awhile. I do hope you all are doing well and again so sorry I don’t get around to blogging much but I do appreciate those that do stop bye and leave me such sweet comments. Love ya all!!

Hello dear blogging friends !!!!!!!!!

Well I got some play time in today. I figured I had better enjoy the last few days I have off before I return to work Monday. Yelp I went and saw the surgeon yesterday and he has released me to go back to work. I am ready for the most part but will miss having so much free time. It has been a whole month that I have been off since my surgery. But am feeling good and am ready to return, just not the 11 1/2 hours. lol

First I would like to give you a head’s up that there will be a new release coming Sunday from Susana’s Custom Art and Cards. You don’t want to miss out so keep stalking the Follow Your Heart Blog so you don’t miss out !!!

But I wanted to make a note book for a dear friend of mine that has been here helping me and checking on me all the time. It is so nice to have a nurse around when you need one isn’t it ??

I have used this Nurse Tilda for my card (fitting huh?) she has been colored with my copic’s and spic glitter pens.

I have used one of the Memory Box dies  and added lots of flat pearls to it.

The borders are from Cheery Lynn Designs and I have used twinklets on all the flowers.

I used a magnolia flower and Marianne leaf die

The papers that I have used are some older SU papers. And I used walnut stain distressed ink on all the edges.

Well it is the weekend !!! I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend and a safe one at that. Me I will be home safe and sound !! So I Wish you All A Very Happy and Safe New Year!!!

Today I would like to show you a card I made for the Crea Shop Challenge Blog. I broke down and cut into these gorgeous Maja Design Papers from the Crea Shop and so I thought I would get a card made for the challenge before it closed. I have used this new adorable Tilda and she has been colored with my copic’s and I have used some Glamour Dust on the ruffles of her dress and the inside of the flowers.

The Challenge is playing Bingo so I went with Flowers, Heart and Swirl.  I made a very simple CAS card for I just couldn’t cover up these gorgeous papers !!

Happy New Year !!!

Hello dear friends !!

I was doing some blog hopping and came across this gorgeous layout that Camilla had done and just had to give it a try. I so love what she done. So I cased it.

I have used this adorable special Tilda from the Crea Shop in the Netherlands. This Tilda is for Breast Cancer and she was given to me as a Christmas Gift  along with these gorgeous papers that I about cried when I cut into them from a very sweet special friend. Thanks hon. These papers are from Maja Design and I will be using them sparingly lol They are also from the Crea Shop.

Tilda has been colored with my copic’s and some Spica Glitter Pens. And has been cut out with the Spellbinders oval dies. Then I also used the Spellbinder frame behind it.

Flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and have been coated with Glamour Dust Glitter Paint. The leafs, flower  and flourish dies are  from Magnolia.

I also used a MS border punch  and on that panel it was cut out with a SU punch to tie the bow. (love this Camilla)

The sentiment is computer generated and I used some SU punches for it also.

Ribbon is from my stash.

This picture here shows you the a little of the inside of the card, it has been lined with some more of these gorgeous Maja Design Papers.

And this view you can see the front panel, that it opens up and is tied with the ribbon. I just love how Camilla done this. Thanks for such wonderful inspiration dear.

Happy Birthday !!

 

Well I am getting on a roll here getting to play. Has been a long time since I have been able to play so much. But I know when I get to go back to work, those long hours will still be there waiting on me lol

But I had a good play yesterday and made a birthday card for my oldest. Like I told you yesterday I have 4 birthdays this month .

So I have used this gorgeous image made by Krista Smith. I so love her images, her hair is just so wonderful to color. This stamp is from a very very sweet dear friend and I just love it. Thanks sweetie !!!! She is called Cinderella for Sugar Nellie. She has been colored with my copic’s and I have used Spica Glitter Pens and Glamour dust , and some smooch pearlized  accent ink on her.

The papers are from Lily Bee designs that I got from Susana’s Custom Art and Cards.

Dies are from Cheery Lynn Designs. and the flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts which I have coated in Glamour Dust Glitter Paint.

Sentiment and punches for it are from SU.

The gems are from a very sweet dear friend also, You have me spoilt dear.

Apple Spice

Sparkle

It’s Friday and that means a new challenge over at Just Magnolia and Hanglar Challenge Blog It is the first of the month and that means anything goes and this week I also set the option as Lots of Sparkle !!

Now my card really does have lots of sparkle to it but you can’t see it very well. But trust me it’s there lol

I have used Tilda here and she has been colored with my copic’s. I have used some glamour dust glitter paint for the fur, satine Mother of Pearl paint for the snow, some hologram glitter pen on my Memory Box die . And check out the holly on my poinsettia !! I used some Glitter Gel I got and man this stuff is awesome !!! You can use it on stencils etc. Has such a nice thick texture and so much sparkle. I colored a poinsettia flower with a purple copic and added twinklets all over it. All these products are from Susana’s Custom Art and Cards . This gal has so many neat products to use on your cards, I could spend and spend lol Then my snowflake is full of glitter. So I think I have covered the sparkle lol

Well that means another new challenge up at Lily Of The Valley Challenge Blog !!! Today the challenge is Anything Goes. I am using James Bear in the Snow. I have colored him with my Prisma Pencils and the papers are Still Joyful Hearts from a collection at Nitwit. You know me and my purple lol

I have used some Satine Mother of Pearl paint  and some Liquid Appliqué from Susana’s Custom Art and Cards I love the texture of this. And also some glamour dust.

New Rubba!!!!!!!!!!

Hello dear crafting friends !!!! Well I got the weekend off !!! Yippee !!!!! Was so excited I had to have a play today with my new rubba !!!!

Yes look at this cutie patootie!!!!!! This is Tinkles from Susana’s Custom Art and Cards from the Make It Crafty range. I just fell in love with her.

I thought this image was just perfect for some Christmas Cards. She has been colored with my copic’s and I have added some Glamour Dust Glitter Paint to her shoes and hat and the bells. I am soooooo totally addicted to this stuff. The papers are from Bo Bunny’s from the Father Christmas Collection. This pad is just gorgeous !!!

I used a Memory Box Die of Snowflakes and added some Hologram Glitter Pen to parts of the snowflake. These pens are very addicting too let me tell you lol

I crocheted some flowers and added a brad to one and a poinsettia on the other. These poinsettia’s I also got at Susana’s.

I thought since I was having a play today I would enter this into a couple of challenges.

Creature Comforts

Hello dear blogging friends !!! I am back today with a new challenge over at Lily Of The Valley Challenge Blog. Today the challenge is Creature Comforts and I have used this adorable James Bear wrapped in Tinsel from Lily Of The Valley. I have colored him in with my Prisma pencils. I am really starting to like coloring with these.

For my project I have made a notepad with papers from Bo Bunny. Dies used are from My Favorite Things, Memory Box and Magnolia. The poinsettia’s have been painted with Glamour Dust glitter Paint that I got from Susana’s Custom Art and Cards. I love this stuff.

Pearls and Lace

Happy Friday dear friends!!!

Today is a new challenge up at Just Magnolia and Hanglar Challenge Blog.  The challenge was set by teamie Anne and it is Pearls and Lace. I managed to get this project done while I was on vacation a couple weeks ago.

I have decorated a wooden tissue box and used Hanglar images for it. I have used lots of Glamour Dust Glitter Paint on all my flowers.

Sneak Peak and a Saturated Canary

Happy Saturday dear friends !!! Yes it is a happy one for me because our work day was canceled !! Yippee!!!

It sure has been a long week after being on vacation last week, but I am so glad it is the weekend. I hope you all are enjoying yours.

I finished a card I had been messing with all week. It is one of the new images from Krista Smith. Isn’t she just the cutest??? I have colored her with my copics and have used some Memory Box papers. I just loved coloring this adorable image. I am going to enter this into the Saturated Canary Challenge the challenge this week is 1 image, 2 patterned papers and 3 embellishments.

I used some glamour dust glitter paint on my poinsettia and some Glitter gel on the holly leaf all from Susana’s Custom Art and Cards.

I have used this adorable little puppy called Buckets of Love !!! Oh I just love him. He has been colored with my copic’s and the papers are from Nitwit called Grin n Bear it. Love these papers.  I have used some Spellbinder dies and a Magnolia tag die. Now this new release, most of them come with a sentiment free so what a great deal. So start stalking Lily Of The Valley !!!

Black, Sparkle, Flowers and distressing !!

 

Well it is Monday and that means I am back at work !!! My vacation just went to fast ! But I have a card to show you today that I done while I was off.

This is one of the images from Krista Smith , isn’t she adorable??

She is colored with my copic’s and these gorgeous papers are from a Authentique pad I got from Susana’s Custom Art and Cards.

I am entering this into the Paper Sundaes Challenge Blog where the challenge is Black, Sparkle, Flowers and Distressing. I think I have gotten all 4 lol

I used some glamour dust on the pearls and on lots of the dress, and some glamour dust glitter paint on the flowers and some glitter gel on the Magnolia  leaf. The circle doily is a Memory Box die.

The chipboard butterfly is also from Susana’s and I have used some radiant rain spray on it. Lots and Lots of sparkle on this that is for sure.

I distressed the edges of the papers with black distressing ink.

The border die is from My Favorite Things.
