Missing my Dad

I'm just sitting here watching the Jazz v Suns and I'm really missing my Dad! We used to watch games together. Some of my favorite memories involve me, my Dad, and my sister watching sports. I recently was able to attend the Jazz game where Gaines beat the Cavs at the buzzer. The game was on TNT and I was so excited to get home to watch Inside the NBA with Dad. We watched those highlights over and over. It was well after 1 AM before we finally got him up to bed. I wasn't in bed until after 2 AM! I half expect to see him come buzzing in on his jazzy and start watching the game with me. Love you Dad!

Sports Photography

I was able to take my camera to the Jazz game v. the Suns last Monday. Below are a few of my favorite shots.

I snapped this one of me standing on the court.

That's my hand at the top of the frame giving DWill a high five as he came out for warm ups.

Paul Millsap

Williams and Brewer

Steve Nash

Tip off

Nash got by Williams on this play in the 1st half. I loved this shot of two of the best point guards in the game.

Nash bringing the ball up, I ike how the Jazz logo is in the background.

Millsap with a nice dunk in the 1st half.

Williams got the better of Nash on this one.

In the 2nd half I got this shot of one of Nash's patented layups.

This key 3 by Wesley Matthews helped put the Suns away.

Deron Williams at half court clapping that the Jazz had secured another W.

ESA celebrating another Jazz win.

Baird Portraits

Back in November I did a shoot for the Bairds'. We went out to the Saltair area. I love shooting out there because there are a lot of great backgrounds so close together.

Easton, Melanie, & Michael

Michael tossing Easton, pretty dang high if you ask me.

Good looking family, here they are on the steps of a burnt out train car.

In front of the Great Salt Lake, I love the vastness out west.

This one is right in front of Black Rock. Shooting from a higher vantage point always makes for a different but interesting picture.

The train tracks in the shots above and below are just east of Black Rock.

James Family Portraits

A few months ago I had the chance to take some portraits for the James Family. We decided to take them at Exchange Place is Salt Lake City which was awesome! I thought they turned out great! Below are a few of my favorites.
