Today was so sweet! We got up early to play basketball at the church, went home to shower, and returned to the church. Why you ask? Oh, just to fill the font up.
That is right, my first baptism! Whooooo Whooooo!
Dory was baptized today! Her husband , who we reactivated, baptized her. The spirit was very strong. She was dunked three times. The first time her husband said the words wrong, the second time her legs came out of the water, but, as they say, third time's a charm! She looked so happy! And they were cool and laughing about the messups. I got to give the opening prayer at the baptism. Sweet! It was awesome to see the gospel enter her life! I feel very privileged to be a part of bringing her the chance and path to celestial glory. The credit belongs to the Lord Jesus Christ.

We had Zone Training today. It was a great training! We practiced how to give commitments and track what commitments we gave and to whom. Later we gave a lesson to a kid named Fred. Brother Barnes came with us. He is so cool and a great teacher. We read about the 2,000 Stripling Warriors. Fred really enjoyed the story. He committed that he would read and pray to see if the Book of Mormon was true.

Today we found a new investigator, a black lady named Paulette. She is very humble and really wants her and her 19 year old daughter to learn about the gospel. She is a recovering alcoholic so maybe we can help her.
