Journal overview: This electronic-only journal publishes research announcements of significant advances in all
branches of mathematics and short complete papers of original research (up to about 15 journal pages). Both research
announcements and short papers should be designed to communicate their contents to a broad
mathematical audience and should meet high standards for mathematical content and clarity.
All papers are reviewed,
and the entire Editorial Board must approve the
acceptance of any paper.
Electronic Research Announcements in Mathematical Sciences is a continuation of Electronic Research Announcements of the AMS published by the American Mathematical Society from 1995 to the middle of 2007. The back issues of ERA-AMS are available from the AIMS website. Copying and
reprinting: Material in this journal may be reproduced by any means for
educational and scientific purposes without fee or permission with the
exception of reproduction by services that collect fees for delivery of
documents and provided that the customary acknowledgment of the source
is given. This consent does not extend to other kinds of copying for
general distribution, for advertising or promotional purposes, or for
