New Pin To Win 2014 contest from Tonner Doll!

Check out the latest Pin To Win contest from Tonner! (And you can use Alison Rasmussen as your referral if you heard about it from me, LOL! We both will get an extra chance to win if you do!)

All you have to do is:

  1. Visit the 2014 Tonner Pinterest board
  2. Pin 3 or more dolls from the 2014 release to a board of yours (one board per person).
  3. Email the URL of your board to tonnersocialmedia@gmail.com with the Subject “2014 Tonner Pin To Win" and my name (Alison Rasmussen) as your referral. (We both get an extra entry if you use me as a referral, it turns out!)
That's it. A random name will be drawn on July 15, 2014. The winner will receive the doll or outfit that is pinned the most! Five runners up will receive a 15% off coupons for use at TonnerDoll.com.

For the complete details and rules, check them out here.

Doll Duels - you must play with this site!

Tonner Doll Company has released a really fun part of their new website, due to be released in full on January 3, 2012. Doll Duels is a giant photo library of owner photos of Tonner-only dolls. You can see

  • Real life photos of actual owner dolls, sorted by category, including repainted dolls and link to their websites and eBay stores,
  • Pairs of two random photos, side by side, in which you can vote for your favorite picture (or choose "Draw," if you just can't decide),
  • The Leaderboard, which shows you the most popular photos of the minute, and
  • You have to option to submit your best photos of your favorite Tonner dolls.

Go play! I have to confess, I can't stay away! Read more about it on Tonner Doll's blog (that's my photo of DeeAnna Denton!), and visit the site yourself (and vote for my photos, LOL!) at DollDuels.com.

I'd love to hear your comments!

Teaser: Who arrived today?

I'll give you two hints:
  1. She's a doll from the 2010 Fall/Holiday line.
  2. She indeed looks a lot like Loreena (Bill's maker) from the HBO series True Blood, like she does in her promo photo.
I adore her! It's already too dark to take good photos, but I will tomorrow! (Alice will come tomorrow, too.)

I have a Civil-war era outfit for her (well, I'm using Jolie for her), and I'd love to get her a fancy 1920s flapper outfit, too. Maybe from the Devereaux line? And I absolutely must get her a riding outfit! Does anyone know if Tonner ever made one?
