Tootsie came down with horsey version of pink eye. Our vet said fly masks for all were the best insurance policy we could take so that we didn't have a whole herd of gooey eyes. Apparently, flies lay some little baby flies in the horses' eyes. (Poet and didn't know it!)
It really is sad to see the flies attacking them. Annoying creatures, those grown up maggots!
thats to cute, but i'm surprised that it's dodge and tootsie instead of dodge and serenity. i missing you all so much as always and school starts on wednesday! :(

super sweet
why are their eyes covered?
They are fly masks. All the horses have them on when we are not using them. To prevent flys from bugging their eyes

Hey, it's been like a week since you ran the big teaser of 'huge day at the ranch!'
just how long you makin' us wait?
:)
Shocked to see Dodge actually touching Tootsie..thought he'd still be pining over you know who..
It's horses' way of bonding and showing affection for one another. Not a bad idea.
