Fabric Tea Bags Galore!

Stitch by stitch by stitch...I needed to keep my hands busy, what better way than a small stitched project? But small doesn't mean fast, so it takes several months to finish these slow stitched tea bags, but I liked the result I got and these are easy to store/hide somewhere, at least :-D

Upcycled Fabric Leftovers Necklace

When you start coiling fabric..you can't stop! So I tried something little (quick to make but it requires a bit of patience), to make some jewels. I started with a statement necklace, very bold to wear. I have some coiled discs left maybe I will try something sober and and some earrings, my mind is buzzin' with ideas :-)
Here's a short/tease video about it:

Loooove slow stitching! Stitched Hearts

How much I love slow stitching? A lot! But I 'm running out of ideas what to stitch lately. I started to put together these simple stitched hearts before Christmas and well, it took a while to finish and I love how these turned out.
From a gel print with one of my stencil (my favourite one, oh those black micro beads):
And finally I used those rusted fabric:

And here some short video process (are you hooked ;-)?):

Slow Stitched Vintage Spool

It's one year now that I started slow stitching on painted/dyed fabric. I stitch on the couch in the evening, not every day, when I feel like. Sometimes I embark in a large project, such a 40x40cm pillow case that it takes months to finish, and then it usually followed by something small, such this wrapped sewed vintage spool. Hope you like it!
I transferred a laser printed image on fabric with gesso:

Here's a short video process:
And here the pillow case:
