Notes :

Elsi Curry was a pseudonym for Will Sin of The Shamen. With help of unknown female vocalist he recorded great Balearic single ''U Make Me Feel''. Despite DJ promos having been pressed up, the song will never see a proper release.

Tragically Will Sin doesn't live to see a release of this single. On 23rd May 1991, following a video promo shoot in Tenerife for a re-release of ''Pro-gen'', he drowns whilst swimming off the coast of La Gomera.

Bocca Juniors was a short-lived project formed between the four DJ/producers (Andrew Weatherall, Terry Farley, Pete Heller and Hugo Nicolson) at the heart of the Boy's Own Recordings label. They only released two singles: 1990's "Raise (63 Steps To Heaven)" and 1991's "Substance". Both featured lead vocals from Anna Haigh and were, in the words of the group, intended to be "balearic anthems". (The name "Bocca Juniors" is likely derived from the hugely popular and successful Argentine football team Boca Juniors, and possibly also from the word "bocca", which means "mouth" in Italian.)

Notes :

Manchester based group which was responsible for several dance floor hits in the early 1990s. The three met in school and later became regular patrons at The Hacienda. Determined to make a record that would get them on the guest list at the famous club, they recorded their hit "Space Face" and pressed it up using money from their mothers, later signing it to Ten Records. Ten dropped them soon after and they re-signed with Rob Gretton's new label, Robs Records. They broke the UK Top 10 in 1993 with the single "Ain't No Love (Ain't No Use)". A couple of years later, a studio fire destroyed most of their equipment and spurred them to start afresh as Doves.
