Autumn Sketch Fest I

We're in the thick of convention season here at the Hotel Fred - and that means sketches and commissions. So here's the first of a run that I did for the Lakes International Comic Art Festival and Nottingham Comic Convention over the last couple of weeks (both wonderful shows!), plus a few non-convention commissions, which will take us up to Thought Bubble - so there'll be sketches coming for a while. Hellboy

Here's a piece I did for the Cartoon Art Museum in San Francisco – they're doing a fundraising auction on a Hellboy theme, so this is my contribution (inspired by The Nightmare by Henry Fuseli). There's more information about the auction here – well worth your support.

I'm putting this up for the entirely fatuous reason that I want to be able to link to it on a mesageboard. It was drawn on television, Rolf Harris-style, for a documentary about the making of the Hellboy movie (somebody figured out that I'd done a five-pager for Hellboy Weird Tales and would probably come very cheaply, both of which were correct).
