So I just wanted to be able to say I posted on 10-10-2010 this day landing on a Sunday will not happen again for 600 years. Crazy thought huh!

Splash Park! 2010

Joey had been begging all summer to go to the splash park and since we weren't near one it had to wait till just before it closed for the season. They had a really good time and I am glad we got to check it off his list. Kenzi would have nothing to do with the water she just sat around the edge the whole time. As I went throught the pictures I realized Daddy must have been have a little to much fun putting the kids in the water cause there were a lot of him holding them in the water!



Could resist the picture below of the three sisters waiting to get on the ride. They really enjoy it! A big thank you to those that came with us and made it so much fun!

First Day of School

Like most kids Joey was ready for his first day of school hours before it actually happened! He didn't know who his teacher was going to be even on the first day because they decided to evaluate all the kids on the first day while the parents got a lesson on the school themselves so the first day was only an hour long and while joey was doing his thing in class we were being herded around the school like little school children ourselves. He loved it though and then later in the afternoon the school called us with his teacher and to let us know that he would be in the morning class which is what we had wanted! It does make for a long day at home because he goes to school so early and is home so early that the rest of the day can drag a bit, but he functions so much better earlier so we like the schedule. I really like his teacher she is very organized and tidy which I like a lot. I have already been able to volunteer in his class twice and that part is fun I am excited that I can help out in his class for things even if it is for a short time.

Kenzington's 1st Birthday.

I know every mother says it but I REALLY REALLY can not believe that this little lady turned 1 already! Where has my life gone? With all the insanity in the last year I feel like she was grown up way faster than the other three and it makes me really sad to see her getting so big already!
By her first birthday she was already walking and had been for a few weeks, which is a first for all of my children. She had 4 teeth but only got the top two the week of her birthday. Which is still more than Cambria who had none at this point.
We did keep her birthday pretty low key cause it was also joey's first day of school but she is also only one and didn't need anything to big cause she isn't going to remember the day either.
We feel so blessed to have been given such an Amazing little spirit in our home she really is an awsome baby and we have been really blessed with how good she is. Almost never crying, always patient, and just goes with the flow! Love you my little lady!

Rewind to Nantasket

OKay so I have to rewind for my own sake just a little. This was the best day we had all summer on the beach hands down! If it wasn't such a drive I think we would have spent all summer every day there! The sand is perfect Kenzi loved just sitting on the rocks and I got to look for sea glass for a long time and found a pretty good haul of it! We could have spent longer but I was by myself with the four or them so I couldn't just go move the car and come right back(it was in a time limit parking) and they kids were getting a little hungry and sand filled sandwichs just isn't my thing. But it really was the most peaceful and relaxing day we had ever had all summer! Even with a ton of people on the beach. I lOVED IT!

Papa's Birthday

So the night before my dad Left Maryann and John took us out to dinner for my dad's birthday! It was seafood and it was great! Since my mom is allergic to Scallops and dad can't have them when he is with her he went with what he loved and got fried scallops!

Ancestors on Mayflower

So my Dad has been doing a lot of geneology and found out that we had some ancestors that came on the mayflower so being that the church is 5 min. from Plymouth rock and the Mayflower we took some time to see the monument that was built for them. I think my dad was pretty excited about this one!

Next Was the General Store with Papa!

This is hanging in the bathroom at the General store and is kinda inside joke for our family so I thought it was pretty dang funny!


My dad brought me to this general store as a child and we took the kids this winter when we were here but it was a lot more fun to take them with my dad there and let them put the quarters in the player piano's!

Last week in June 2010

Okay so this way back at the end of June when we first got back to Boston my Dad was awesome enough to drive with me so that i wasn't by myself and when we got here we had to take him to the beach so that he could say he had been coast to coast in 2 weeks(he had just made a trip to the oregon coast with his sisters) Any way this had to have been the HOTTEST day of the summer we were on the water and it was still 10,000 degrees the the breeze didn't help one bit! The kids had a great time until the Horse Flies came out then it was all over and they ran SCREAMING for the car!
