My Husband is so Inventive!

Welcome to me ranting and raving about Ryan! This is just who Ryan is and how his mind works... So we were at my parents house on Monday having some of mom's wonderful grilled cheese sandwiches when my dad comes in from the garden with 5 speckled eggs. Random... why would a bird lay it's eggs in a garden? Anyway, Ryan then wanted to see what kind of eggs they were. Having the hunch they were quail eggs Ryan goes to look online. We have a hunting dog and it would be good to help with the training to have quail, they are like $2 a piece to buy. So Ryan decides to take the eggs home. We didn't have a heat lamp or an incubator or anything else. Ryan amazes me. He looked on the Internet to see how to make one, looked around the house at what we had and then walla. here is our homemade incubator!

March Madness!

Alright so for the last few weeks, even through today we have been reorganizing our house. The Wednesday of Spring break we got a phone call from Laurie, Ryan's step-mom, to tell us that the La Costa house was going into foreclosure! This really stinks because it was a perfect vacation home. We've had so many good memories of all night mexican train tournaments and chillin' in the hot tub. We will really miss this house. Laurie told us that there was furniture left over if we wanted to come out and get it that weekend. So we headed out there in our little pick-up. We ended up renting a 26ft truck to bring the stuff back. We were so blessed to get what we did. Here are a few pieces :)




I don't have pictures ready for posting yet but we also brought back a ton of live plants, a sectional, a gynormous tv, dining room set, a 7' X 5' mirror, pictures... it has truly been a blessing. Our house is feeling more like a home.

Why are the places that Clean so dirty?

Why are the places that do that clean some of the most dirty places? So I'm doing laundry today and I notices that the laundry room is filthy. Why is that?? Isn't the laundry room a place of cleanliness where things come out clean?? The other place that is supposed to be for cleaning is the bathroom... We all know how horrible the bathroom is to clean. Why are the places where we do the most cleaning so dirty??? I've thought about dirty things going into them makes them dirty, but then why isn't the rest of the house that way?

March Updates

So we had a crazy rest of February and March just has not stopped. I don't even know where to start. So, I'll start with something that has made me really happy lately. As you know Ryan and I have started a Photography business. Our name is Framed Memories (thanks for all the input :) Heavenly Father has really blessed us to be able to start and persue something together. We have absolutely loved spending the time together doing something we love. Most recently we have been able to do some maternity shots for some friends. The first set of pictures is Richard and Tiffany Stradling. There situation we quite unique, but I think everything turned out very well. We had been planning on doing some maternity shots for them in March, but Tiffany was put on hospital bedrest until the babies came in February. So we had to think of some way to convert a hospital room into a studio. I have to say I think it turned out pretty well

He did it!

Ryan just finished the Ragnar Relay Race! It is a team running relay from Prescott to Tempe (208mi) They did very well, minus the set back of another runner getting hit by a car. Although he is very sore he had a lot of fun! I'll post pictures when they get on the computer.

Our Photography Business

Alright, as many of you have heard we are starting a photography business (if you haven't, guess what... we're starting a photography business!) Ryan and I have been having so much fun having a hobby together! We do need your help with something. Since we decided to do the business we have been throwing around some names and after much research we have narrowed it down to these two.
