We attend a really super ward with a lot of great people and friends... also a tendency to give people double callings. I am currently the Young Women's Secretary and Choir Pianist. Clint is a Financial Clerk and 11 year old Scout Leader.
Today Clint got up at 5:45 am to make it to a Leadership Meeting at 6:00 am. I got up with Jack and Lucy at 6:30, got the beds made, church clothes laid out, bag of activities/snacks packed, Young Women's BYC calendars printed, breakfast started (German pancakes, yeah!). Ellie up at 7:30. Feed the kids breakfast. Clint home at 8:30. I practice the piano because the choir is performing today, then hurry and take a shower and put the kids in the bath. Clint leaves at 9:15, because he has a financial audit today. I get ready, get the kids ready and leave at 10:15 so the choir can practice before church. Church from 11:00 to 2:00. Clint is substituting in Lucy's nursery (this is his third week in a row to sub in Primary). Clint stays after church to take care of donations. I feed the kids a snack/lunch, change everyone out of church clothes, get dinner started, practice the piano for the choir Easter songs. Clint home at 3:30. I leave at 3:45, to go to choir practice. Home at 5:30. Home teachers at our house from 5:30 to 6:00. Feed the kids dinner and put them to bed. Whew!
I know that was really boring and I don't blame you if you skipped ahead. Probably you have similar Sundays. Sometimes I find myself looking forward to Monday to get the house put back together and have everyone on a more regular (usually) less hectic routine, which seems a little backwards. I'm not trying to complain, Clint and I both really enjoy our callings but it would be nice to actually have a day of rest!

Girl's Day In!
Jack has had ski lessons every Saturday this month and today was his last day. He's getting really good and it's fun to ski with him. He can ski all of the blue and green runs at Bogus Basin and Clint took him on a black diamond mogul run today. Jack said it was "sweet!" We've taken Ellie up on the bunny hill a couple of times on warm days and she does pretty good! But... today was a girl's day in. Ellie, Lucy, and I had waffles for breakfast, had a bubble bath, played, watched a movie, and made "Oreo" cookies. I also went through all of the kids clothes, cleaned out their closets, and organized stuff for spring/summer. This is one of my favorite things to do, I even reorganized all of the baby clothes. (I do this every couple of months because I just love folding little tiny baby clothes and remembering when my kids wore them.) It was kind of sad today because Lucy will be two in April and I'm NOT pregnant! My kids are all almost exactly two years apart, so it seems weird to not be having a baby this spring. Lucy is seeming so big lately. She is talking a lot, working on being potty trained, and getting really independent (I hear "I do it" all day long or if I ask "Do you need help?" She'll say, "I help you!"). This is making me want a baby, but Clint's not feeling it yet so I guess it will be a while longer :)

I let Ellie and Lucy try on some of their new summer things. I like to coordinate their outfits whenever possible, is that weird? I've even had people ask me if they are twins. I would think that is it obvious that they're not the same age, but I guess matching clothes=twins to some people.
Ellie relaxing in the tub.
Lucy figuring out bubbles look better than they taste.

Me and my girls! I don't know why I have approximately seven chins in the first picture, and yes Ellie is wearing lipstick. The girl has got a makeup obsession! She didn't get it from me.
Jack going over a "sweet" jump.

I am a robot-Jack, We are ballerinas-Ellie & Lucy
Just FYI the music was added to the videos after. Whatever they are dancing to is all in their heads. Pretty funny! The robot one of Jack makes me think of my brother Ryan when he was little.

Cute Kids
Peer Pressure
Everyone has a blog and I guess I'm feeling left out! I am going to try really hard to actually keep this updated and stop being a "lurker" who reads everyone else's without contributing. We'll see how it goes. I am a little technology challenged so wish me luck!
