I chose Crate Paper's Katlin line as my starting point. I love the bright cheerful colors. I pleated a strip of the cover sheet from the collection and added additional pieces of accent papers. The sentiment is from the new "On Your Birthday" set from Stampin' Up and the little hearts in the bottom corner are rub-ons from the Katlin Collection.

What's New???
I had to ink them up right away and this "What's New" set seemed perfect for Taylored Expressions Cupcake Challenge this week. I stamped the dog image on white cardstock and again on Bo-Bunny patterned paper and then cut out and pieced the background. The remaining patterned paper is also from Bo-Bunny except for that little square of Basic Grey poking out from behind the scalloped circle.
We had such a terrific time on vacation but it always feels so good to get home. I really missed playing with my stamps. I did get a chance to visit a fun little stamp store in Santa Fe though called Guadalupe's Fun Rubber Stamps. I picked up a few southwestern stamps I'll put to good use soon.

Patterned Paper: Bo Bunny, Basic Grey

Warm Wedding Wishes - BC #85
I settled on my "Happy Couple" stamp from Stampendous and the "Warm Wedding Wishes" sentiment from The Cat's Pajamas.
I am always amazed at how many looks can come out of just one sketch. Don't believe me? Just check out the rest of the cards created by my fellow Blogger's Challenge players. Amazing!
The countdown is on. I finished up work today and am officially on vacation. Woohoo! Well, actually my vacation doesn't start until about 1:00 PM on
Enjoy your weekend!

Birthday Quilt
I love this set from Papertrey Ink called Quilter's Sampler and it was the perfect choice for the card I wanted to make for one of my co-workers. She is an amazing seamstress and quilter. I love the way it works so well with the Haiku patterned paper from Stampin' Up.
The quilt squares were colored with Copic Markers and the sentiment is stamped with SU Kiwi Kiss dye ink. The Tangerine Tango ribbon is also from Stampin' Up. I used my Janome sewing machine to stitch around the edges.
Hope your week is going well. I'm working like crazy to get ready for our trip to Santa Fe next week. With the amount of work I have to finish before I leave and the crazy amount that is waiting for me when I return, I always ask myself if getting away is really worth it! This trip is both business and pleasure though so I am going to do my best to enjoy every minute.
