Have a HoHoHomazing Christmas! - Festive Card Inspiration

Today I’m sharing a sweet and festive Christmas card featuring

one of the new Mabel Holiday Printable Bundles from 

Polkadoodles!

Mabel Festive Wishes

I had so much fun bringing this design to life with classic holiday colors,

lots of layering, and a touch of sparkle!
For the background, I used a red-and-green striped paper from the bundle. 

It is matted with green card stock and adhered to red glitter card stock on the card base.

 I then added a scalloped stitched frame in deep green to anchor the focal point.

The star of the card is "Mabel", all dressed up for Christmas in her polka-dot dress, 

cozy boots, and a gorgeous flower crown.

 I colored her in warm, soft tones to match the vintage feel of the paper. 

To complement her floral crown, 

I tucked in a cluster of poinsettias and holly leaves in the upper corner,

 which is pussycat from another of the papers included in the bundle.

—perfect for adding dimension and seasonal charm.

The playful sentiment, “Have a HoHoHomazing Christmas!”, also from the bundle,

ties everything together and adds a fun, cheerful touch.

A few pearls in the upper corner finish the design and add just the right pop of shine.
This card was such a joy to create, and I hope it brings a little extra holiday cheer your way!

Time for me to share some inspiration for this month's

Polkadoodles Craft & Card Making Challenge.

 My project is an ornament shaped card with Christmas colors. 

Red, green and gold are classic Christmas colors, in my opinion, 

so thats what I used.

The ornament shape is die cut out of red glitter and a gold foil card stocks.

I die cut a smaller circle shape for the card center.

The poinsettias and sentiment were stamped from the 

Wonderful Christmas 4 x 8 Stamp Set.

I colored the poinsettias with Prismacolor pencils.

Gold "gem look" trim was added to complete my design.

This week's inspiration project is a birthday card created with

Birthday Cake Elephant Digital Stamp.

I colored this little cutie with Prismacolor pencils and fussy cut.

The card background consists of a patterned paper from

Birthday Fun 6x6 Paper Pack and white card stock that

was embossed with a brick pattern embossing folder.

I added a number 3 which was printed from

Cute Elephant Tons of Love Numbers Printables.

The sentiment was stamped with one of the stamps in the

Birthday Celebrations 4x8 Clear Stamp Set.

Halloween Treat Bag

Hello there!

It's Saturday and time for me to share some more inspiration for this month's

Polkadoodles Craft & Card Making Challenge!

The theme is

ANYTHING GOES

 My DT inspiration project for this week is a Halloween treat bag.

The bag was made with black cardstock.

I added patterned paper from

Halloween Trick or Treat Printable Papers Bundle 2.

Ribbon handles were attached.

A shaker was made with some recycled packaging and scalloped circle die cuts.

The focal image was stamped from

Grab Your Broomstick Matchables Die Set.

I colored with Prismacolor pencils, die cut and adhered to the shaker.

So, today I'm sharing one of the cards I've created with this line.

I am using Ghost.

Not much coloring to do on this cutie, but I did so with Prismacolor pencils.

I fussy cut and added to a background which is one of the patterned papers from

Creepy Autumn Halloween Paper 2b.

I printed the paper twice so I could fussy cut some of the flowers and pumpkins

over the background with foam tape for some dimension.

A die cut circle frame was added for a little interest.

I printed the sentiment and trimmed.

It is from the Cute and Creepy Greetings Bundle.

 Halloween is Coming, so my inspiration project for this week is a Halloween card.

I used the Cordelia Witch Halloween Digital Stamp.

She is colored with Prismacolor pencils and fussy cut.

My background includes stencilling on black glitter card stock.

I used the Starry Nights Stencil with white ink.

The spooky looking tree was cut with a die from my stash.

Gems were added to the tree.

I printed the sentiment from the

Boo Halloween Sentiment Bundle.

I created a card that is perfect to give someone special to you.

Love Bird Rose Flowers from the Wings of Love Downloads

was printed, colored with Prismacolor pencils and fussy cut.

This sweet little bird was popped onto my background

created with papers from

Wanda Printable Paper Patterns and Flower Meadow Printable Download.

I printed one of the sentiments from Love Birds Greetings onto

white card stock and stenciled over with the

Blossoming Rose 6 x 6" Stencil.

Florals at Polkadoodles

It's Saturday and time to share some inspiration for this month's

Polkadoodles Card Making & Craft Challenge! 

This week's inspiration project is a floral card created with the 

Daisy Butterfly Wings Bundle. 

I stamped the floral image and colored with Prismacolor Pencils.

The cutting die included in the bundle was used to die cut. 

A diagonally cut piece of patterned paper from 

Bee Buzzy Stripes & Ginghams Printable Papers was 

adhered to the top left corner of my white card base. 

Two of the word stamps from the set were stamped in the lower right corner.

 I added some confetti embellishments from my stash.

I printed the flowers, colored with Prismacolor pencils and fussy cut.

One of the papers was used for a border at the bottom of my card.

The sentiment was printed and added near the bottom.

I added some confetti embellishments to finish my design.

Noodle Panda Graduation

It's time to share inspiration for this month's

 The DT was asked to create a graduation themed project for this week's inspiration. 

I chose to create a card using 

Graduation You Passed Noodle Panda. 

The sweet panda was colored with Prismacolor Pencils and fussy cut.

My simple designed background consists of white card stock.

I added strip of burgundy card stock and a silver rectangle 

which was embossed with a stars embossing folder.

The sentiment from 

Winnie Celebrations 2 Sentiment Pack.

Enamel dots were added to complete my Graduation Card design.

Just a quick post on this really HOT afternoon!

The card I'm sharing was created with one of the  new Buzzy Bee Gnomes digis from

Polkadoodles!

This cute gnome was colored with pencils.

I trimmed to a rectangle shape and matted with black cardstock.

The background is comprised of 2 patterned papers from

Bee Buzzy Stripes & Gingham Printable Paper Patterns

I cut diagonally, pieced together, added to a black card base and 

added a strip of black cardstock between the 2 patterns.

Birthday Celebration Card

Hello there!

Today I'm sharing my latest inspiration card for this month's

Polkadoodles Card Making & Craft Challenge.

The theme is

ANYTHING GOES.

  This card was created with 

Birthday Celebration Party Bundle.

I colored the cake digi with Prismacolor Pencils and fussy cut.

One of the patterned papers was used on the top part of the card.

The tag digi from the printables included in the bundle was printed and colored.

I printed one of the sentiments included in the bundle onto the tag.

The tag was fussy cut and added to ribbon and a bow.

Pearls were added.

                                      I colored the image with Prismacolor Pencils and fussy cut.

                                  A frame was created by cutting the center of white card stock to 

                                                   let the background paper show through. 

The sentiment from Winnie Daisy Fairy Everyday Greetings and Quotes

                 was printed and trimmed to a banner. I added some butterflies created with a punch.

Toadally Frogot Card

Hello there!

Sharing my latest inspiration card created for the current

Polkadoodles Cardmaking & Craft Challenge.

Challenge theme: ANYTHING GOES

                                          My inspiration project for this week is a slimline card.

 I used the Unfrogettable 4 x 4" Clear Stamp Set. 

                                               One side of the card background was inked and 

the other has patterned paper from the Toadally Cute 6 x 6" Paper Pack. 

                                   The stamped images are colored with markers and pencils. 

                                 Some of the images were stamped directly on the background and 

                                                     others were stamped, colored and fussy cut. 

                                                         I added a few enamel dots to finish it off.

 My focal point is the digital version of Serenity Fairy Kisses. 

She is framed with die cuts. 

I used stamps and dies from the Daisy Butterfly Wings Bundle for embellishments and the sentiment. 

All the images, digital and stamped, were colored with Prismacolor Pencils.
