The Online Reservation For Movie Tickets

After i failed to get tickets to watch the Transformer last weekend, I decided to make an online reservation. I google and found the website for Cathay Cineleisure Damansara.

This is the first time i make an online reservation for movie tickets. Normally i'll just go there and try my luck. The reason i don't book in advance is because I may suddenly feel NO MOOD to watch movie, or i may changed my mind to go somewhere else for movie.

The website is pretty cool, i chose the date, time and movie, and guess what i can even booked the seats. GREAT!! ya, i know i'm so outdated.. well well well.. clicked on the 'check seats' button, the page is loading, showing 'connecting to cinema...'. I wait wait and wait wait and wait, wow..that's kind of long.. After a few minutes, it shows me an error page! okie, let me try again, this time i don't clicked on the 'check seats' button, i tried the 'Auto select seat' button and guess what, i still get the error page!! Don't let ppl to choose seats lar if your site is not ready for that feature!! ^%&%*&^*#$*#$&*#$(&#(&$

FINE!! after trying 2 times at the cathay cineleisure website, i decided to try my luck at the GSC website. I selected the movie, the date, wow, it is showing almost every hour!! i selected 9pm, fully booked, tried 10pm, fully booked too, 11pm, 12am, and even 1am, ALL FULLY RESERVED!!! ok, i gave up. Guess i'm more suitable to queue and buy tickets.

I told my friend about this and she said, normal la, cos a lot of ppl they are not sure what time or where they gonna watch the movie, so they go all websites and booked all different time!! GSC, TGV, cineleisure.. booked it all...

%&(*&#&$(#^%&%$@#%@#^@!!! Thanks to all these ppl!!!! I guess later the cinema will start charing ppl for online reservation. If i'm not mistaken, KLCC already doing this. Blames who?

Alexa Rank = 17?

I understand that the lower the Alexa ranking number, the better, it means the site is heavily visited. Amazon.com rank 14, but why mine rank 17? Something must be wrong!!

I myself know that my blog don't have THAT MANY visitors, i tried pasting different codes but still get 17. Can anybody tell me where went wrong??

Bye Bye Yahoo Photo

OL msn me this morning, telling me that yahoo photo is closing down. The service will be shut down in favor of the newer and more social Flickr.

So what happened to the photos that we uploaded to yahoo photo? Don't worry, we are given the option to export all our photos into Flickr (a one-click process) or a few other services such as Photobucket, Snapfish, Kodak Gallery or Shutterfly. phew.. luckily.. if not ask me to copy one by one i'll pengsan!!

I used to think by uploading to the internet it's pretty safe as my photo will not get lost. I did not make a copy of my photos, normally just one in my pc and one uploaded to the net, so if i format my pc, what i left is the one in the net. If i did not hear this from OL, i'll probably will lost all my photos!!

So my friend, if you don't want your photo to be deleted, faster go export..

I am 70% addicted to blogging!

I was reading My E-Commerce blog just now, he was saying that he's 64% addicted to blogging, then i started to wonder, hmm, he blog for 2 years and he's 64% addicted to blogging, then what about me? I only started to blog for around 3 months +, will i be more addicted than him?

tah-dah, the answer is YES!! OMG!!! OMG!! I'm a Blog Addict!! (luckily not drug addict, hehe..)

Files too large for sending as email attachments?

I've come across this site, BigUpload which allows files uploading, transferring and file sharing, maximum upload size per file for free account is 500Mb and 2000Mb for premium account. WOW!! 500Mb, that's a lot.

The best thing of this site is you DO NOT need to register to use it. Simply upload the file, then enter your friend's email and that's it. The link will be sent to your friend's email and he/she can then access BigUpload and download it. cool right?

You can also upload the file without entering any email address. After you finished uploading, a link will be given to you and you can keep the link for future downloads.
